Beautiful song. It gives me comfort as I made the decision today to not wait on Dr.'s for healing. I stepped away from them all, am not going back for the last test results or treatment options and left this at God's feet where I placed a severe heart disease and cancer diagnosis 3 months ago. When I laid it at his feet I wanted only him to handle it and to draw me closer to him. My faith is strong and I know he can heal me if he wants but if he does not I am still happy because he promised me he would always be with me and never leave me. He promised if I believed in my heart and accepted Jesus that I would join in him heaven. I believe Jesus is the son of God, that he died for my sins and arose again to prepare a place in heaven for me. May God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven. I am 57v years old and look forward o meeting my savior and family who went before me. By Grace we are saved through faith! Thanks be to God! Jesus thank you for loving me!

What a powerful song! The beginning startles you with a non-musical raspy voice saying, "Sometimes I fall." After a pause he adds, "to my knees and pray." That grabs your heart as a Christian. It succinctly portrays the deep ache we have for the return of our precious Savior. We want Him to hurry and return soon before we break down, but persevere by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit and Jesus' promise to return, heal every hurt, and right every wrong. We need Him to turn things around and straighten out the mess we've made in this world. Deep down we know heaven is our home, not these temporary ones we have while here on earth. The beauty of heaven intensifies the wait, making it seem even longer. Whether you're weak or strong, we all feel the ache for Christ's return, the goodness of heaven, and to be in the presence of Jesus. One day every knee will bow and confess Him as Lord, to the glory of God the Father. The truth of this encouraging promise is a hope that won't fade and is definitely worth holding on to. Always remember, heaven rules and God is in control.

I've never commented on a KZbin video but today has been tough. I found out that a co-volunteer was shot and killed this past weekend. I asked a friend, "when will this senselessness end?" This is one of my new favorites. I am an Army Military Police veteran and an Iraqi Freedom veteran. I first heard this on KLove a few months ago and it mkved me to tears. I just discovered this extended version and it again moved me to tears. Despite the many rounds of group therapies, anger management classes, and other things, I still struggle with PTSD. This song and others like it remind me that whether or not i see healing and restoration in this life, i know there will be a day when i will be fully and totally restored when He calls me home. The song reminds me that even in the deepest pits of my bouts of depression, Panic attacks and flashbacks and night terrors and nightmares, He is with me and holds me holds me close to His chest ro remind me He cares for me and will be by my side no matter what. Never leave me nor forsake me.
