DESCENDANTS OF THE SUN!!!!! I've a very deep connection. The coverage of this show is just so phenomenal. Two very noble profession with a perfect portrayal of both proudness and difficulties, happiness and sorrow, fun and mourn, happy and sad tears like just how in reality it is. This drama has literally everything.. fun, romance, tears, laugh, feelings, bromance, colleagues, friendship, partnership, humour, understanding, social emotional fun like every aspects are there. So many stuffs but like just so perfectly linked that you will never feel it's rush or it's slow or the same storyline is repeating or anything. What you'll feel like is just everything is flowing way too smoothly and without realising it just become a part of you. Well I first watched this back in 2019 after my exams and I was so touched and that was the point where I decided that I really want to be a Doctor. And now since I'm preparing for my medical entrance I really needed to watch it again and to rejoice a not so highlighted reason as how this thing came and now in 2024 completing it again is just like a dose of caffeine I really needed to push myself upto my study table. So you can get that how much this means to me. I'm not saying there are not other medical shows there are and that too so good but this one was my first hit so it'll always be so special. Okay now coming to the drama.... Well my Gosh characters!!! Damn every character was just so to the point. Not just lead actors but like everyone. Every supporting actors to like just scenes dialogue everything. I just love them. Two couples... So different and I really love how both had their own issues but just highlighted how it really affects in real life too. Song song couple gosh now when Ik they were actually falling in love in that shooting it just make everything thousands times more meaningful and real. Dr Myeon and Captain Yoo shi jin what a chemistry. Their fun loveing bickering and that emotional support and understanding. Song joong ki is just so charming in his character. So sharp and his lines were the bestest out of all of them. And Dr Myeon gosh her being a Surgeon was the best thing and she looks just so immensely pretty that I was awestruck with her throughout the show. And together they had that just so real bonding and chemistry that I just can't write. The other pair... Myeong ju and Sergeant Sae Dae... Sorry If I spelled it wrong *hehe* wow- When I first watched it I didn't get them too much but this time I'm just so in awe with them. They had so much understanding and like just a very deep chemistry. Every time they got separated I felt something shattering. But that was worth it. That's what makes them even much more meaningful. It's not so easy to date with such professions. We live safely in our home and apartment and in this rush we just forget to admire that someone out on the border is standing day and night to make things peaceful and safe. But they and those who love them that's so difficult. I really liked how Dr Mo Yeon was so confused and took that much time to date captain cuz that make Everything more real and meaningful. Cuz in reality when you're someone like Doctor it won't be easy to make your mind to date someone who's life runs around death either of himself or other. And I also loved how both captain Yoo shi jin and Dr kang both were so considerate and proud of who they are while balancing the beautiful relationship they have, respecting each other work while also understanding when they were not together to be with each other at the time of need. Gosh only if we get that trust in other person. The way Sergeant Dae loved Myeon ju ahhh he loved her... He just live in love for her.. nothing means more than her to him. He even was ready to give up his life his profession and like I just can't say how deeply he loved her. And also Myeong Ju the way she waited for him everytime, understood him, took stand in front of his father.. wow! I just love them. Every side characters from like Hospital Chairman to Commander, those english Villain to that solar plant chief head, NGO's Daniel to That Blakey kid, every medical doctor to soldiers. They all were so at point. Situation the plotline cover so many things like how tough this profession can be, how a pandemic can occur anytime from Earthquake to some deadly virus spread, how many people in world are suffering for just basic necessities, to south and North Korean issues to how tough a soldier situation can get to how pressurising a Doctor can become in OT like everything. I just want each of you to atleast give a try and visuals are amazing from both actors to the shooting of location. So many stuffs some shocks some giddiness just give a try I will say... Rest you can ask me anything you want to I'm just a very hardcore fan. And funny things like those comedic scenes and honest confession live rentfree in my head!!! Loved it soooooo much and I'm sure after few year I'll watch it again with same enthusiasm and I'll get emotional again or even more that this time. Well if you're wondering I just finished the last episode and I am so touched and I had to vent out somewhere so that's why at 3am I'm writing all this. I loved it!!!
