They could have made Rebels alot better if they started it after the destruction of the first Death Star where the Alliance had soldiers in uniform and showed space and ground battles between their armies that were mentioned but never seen. One reason why the Clone Wars was good was because the battles between the Republic and CIS was so good.

John Trollinski I wouldn't say that. It's just that the saga is transitioning from the Originals to the Sequels whereas the Prequels transitioned INTO the Originals. That and the prequels had such a huge focus for nearly a decade. As time goes on I think people are realizing the "hate" for the prequels is due to excessive nostalgia or just trying to be the guy fishing for likes.

John Trollinski, Force Awakens had references to both the Clones and the Sith. Hell, that red pirate guy that Finn tries to join, yeah, there's actually a Clone Trooper in his crew, Kix, a Clone that, like Rex, had his chip removed, but was cryogenically frozen for over 50 years, waking up in the new trilogy timeframe. But yeah, Episode 7 referenced things from the Prequels, even if they were only name drops from Kylo and Maz.
