Ends are inevitable but that doesn't make it any easier. Roger and The Who have been a constant for me since 1981 when a high school chum suggested I should go see The Kids Are Alright. I managed to see them in 1982, 1989, 2000, and twice in 2016. Thank you Roger.

Yes, thank you for this! 👍 Roger cancelled his show for June 27th in Indianapolis. I was looking forward to seeing it, because I recently became a fan of The Who and I really enjoy the music, and I am halfway through Roger's autobiography which I am really enjoying. 😃

@@musicsdca The simple answer is that someone was sitting somewhere other than his seat, and security unilaterally created a problem where there wasn't one. It was one of my seats. I knew the guy. We had no problem. Then when security made a problem, my friend escalated and got belligerent. It was a mess. I'm grateful Roger intervened. I'm grateful Roger re-started the song.

I saw Daltrey with the Who perform Tommy at the San Diego Community Concourse in, I believe, 1971. And that remains the best live rock performance I've seen.

Considering all that he's been through in music for 60+ years, Roger sounds GREAT!! Doing all of these songs in their original keys at 80 is just REMARKABLE! The band is pretty good too. Special shout out to bass player Jon Button. Not trying to imitate John Entwistle, but just playing the tastiest bass parts I've heard in a long time.

Scott was a local guy here in Cali. His influences range from Moonie to Copeland, Bonzo and Peart. I have many vid and fotos with him and the band Speaker, Meat Nixon. Cool cat for sure.

This is a solo tour, he has 10+ solo albums. I loved the two from 1980's McVicar you don't normally get to hear at a Who show. He hints at something upcoming, an "all request tour with a different set of musicians.."
