okay the fact that you could basically play the song after one listen is just... wow
@fernandaveloz59733 жыл бұрын
So as a musician, you learn how to listen carefully to each single sound, key and once you figure out and memorize like each sound, you can play along with it and it’s almost predictable. Especially with him, seems like he has perfect pitch which is how he can just listen to it once and play along while knowing what notes they are:)

Am I that weird for thinking that I do believe in love but I know that there's no such thing as "forever" for highschool lovers? And the fact that I already realized that thought when I was in my Grade 6? Am I weird? Or is it because my understanding and standards of "forever" in love got much higher after my Wattpad phase started? Blame the books, I guess? I'm 17 now -- still believes that love doesn't exist in highschools😂

Youve covered everthing about the song: music and arrangement, lyrics and meaning, voice and performance, video and presentation, plus your own insights and message. David, I'm a fellow musician and I thought your reaction/review of this song was fantastic. As soon I saw you catch the additional Dm chord near the end of the last chorus, I clicked the "subscribe" icon. It was the ONLY time someone caught that in the many reaction videos to this song I've watched by musicians/vocal coaches. I too was blown away the first time I heard this song due to the singing, songwriting and production. I was expecting the same old repetitive, overproduced material that is so prevalent in pop music today.

Yo! Loved the video, you crushed it in your analysis, ended up being a huge fan of your content! Two things, no criticism on you, but I feel heartbreak is an important thing experience. I absolutely love the production dan did on this whole album. every song feels so atmospheric. every song takes you for a ride. I love music that feels like it placed me in an entirely different situation. with driver's license, it feels like you are in the car with her. going from sad to angry to just confused and chaotic because at the end of the day emotions are like that. brutal is just really in your face and it's like you're fighting for your life almost with such powerful aggression in the music.

Fantastic reaction! I watched some other reactions to this song recently and was pretty critical because they had either listened to it previously or looked up the lyrics prior to listening which I felt really ruined the authenticity of their reactions. I wondered if I maybe I was being too harsh, however your reaction has 100% validated it for me because the way you not only broke down the lyrics, but also talked about how they relate to real life was perfect.
