Great question. Often times the person receiving the stems would like to add their own processing and effects to the raw audio files. So bypassing plugins here will allow that. However if the receiver wants your effects printed to the files then allow them through. Hope this clarifies things. Cheers 😀

@@servHis221so I will say it can be a choice between the person bouncing and the recipient; whoever your sending the stems to might want just the original raw audio of the stem with non of the effects processed onto it to give them more control of the mix. Other people might just want to work with the exact sound you already have and maybe add on top of it. It’s a good conversation to have with the person you’re sharing with! I might have to have the same conversation with somebody in a minute 😂
