It's a bit misleading when he says you can edit the oscillators. You might be able to add a second osc and detune it, but forget adjusting PWM, sync or even changing the basic osc wave. On the positive side IKM have captured a good variety of oscillator tones, so if you want PWM there are patches with fast, medium and slow PWM...but they could have made a bank with just the raw samples to make it easier to build sounds from scratch rather than manually initialising existing ones. That said, the sounds are highly playable and decently tweakable despite the osc thing - I bought it and am very happy.

I got 2 great collections this last Black Friday - SampleTank Collection named "Total Studio 2" and Arturia's "V Collection" Arturia has better analog synths and their instruments are basically replicas of the original. The Syntronik is very different than the originals. I recommend you go and check both.

All of them are sample based, you can buy the whole Collection now for 65 euro's plus vat until the end of June 55 GB worth its 75% off, it should be £300+ its well worth the money

No string box demo? That's the only thing that is really unique about Syntronik. The only software that contains RS-09 sounds. No demo, i'm disappointed
