The song "Horse" ("I'll go out at night in the field with a horse ...") is considered folk. It seemed that it was always sung in Russia! But in fact, it was first performed by the group "Lube" in 1994 at the music festival "Star Surf-94" in Sevastopol, and the song was written by our contemporaries - composer Igor Matvienko and poet Alexander Shaganov.
Interestingly, the song was originally created for the group "Ivanushki International", but then it was rewritten for choral performance. Igor Matvienko considers "The Horse" one of the main works in his life. The strength of the song lies in the deep Russian lyricism, it is called the unofficial anthem of the country, because it resonates in every heart that loves Russia. The project #"MUZYKAVMESTE" presents its version of everyone's favorite song, performed by a variety of musicians and singers of our multinational country.
The project was created with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives.
