I didn't take much notice of ABBA after "Waterloo" and then, when this came out, we were watching TOTP and we all looked at each other and said, "that'll be number one next week." and it was. It's nearly 50 years old now and it remains one of the greatest pop songs ever penned. Pure class on so many levels. I'm _still_ obsessed with it (and ABBA) all these years later. Tim Rice said, "ABBA wrote around 70 songs. 50 of them are very good. 20 of those are outstanding." This is one of the outstanding numbers!

My mother had a friend of hers that worked at the Maine Medical Center and had twin girls that my Mother and our family fell in LOVE with!!! The girl's Birthday was coming up and we decided to get Pro-Roller Skates for the girls & their mother. Our family took the girls and their mother to dinner then to the Portland RollerDrome to introduce them to Roller Skating!!! We arrived at the Roller Drome and the Owner and our friends were happy to see us. We all sat down and got ready to skate. My Mother told us to have fun and teach her Friend & her Daughters to skate. All of us were "FIRED UP"!! and ready to put on a Pro-Skating Show. I Went outside and got the skates out of my car. Before we started skating my family presented the skates we bought to my Mother's friend and her daughters. My Mother's friend and her daughters "FREAKED OUT"!! & started to cry!! then hugged us DEEPLY!! My Mother, My Aunt Rose & my sister Nancy took my Mother's friend and started to teach them to skate. They all skated for a while then came off the skate floor then we all hung out together. After a while My Sister Eva, Me,& My Girlfriend Debbie Took my Mother's Friend and the girls back out and they were making EXCELLENT progress learning how to Roller Skate. Later on my Mother's friend asked, " How Good are you guys on Skates""!!! Our Friends and everyone heard what was being said and started "SCREAMING & CHEERING!!!! Then My Mother heard a HOT Song playing and took my Sisters Nancy & Caroline went on the skate floor and "RIPPED" the roof off the RollerDrome!!! Everyone there including Me, My Sister Eva, My Girlfriend Debbie, and my Aunt Rose, started "SCREAMING & CHEERING" Nancy & Caroline & My Mother ON!!! My Mother's friend & her Daughters went into "SHOCK" over what they saw!!! Everyone came off the skate floor and my Mother's friend & her daughters hugged my Mother, Nancy, & Caroline in TEARS!!! My Mother told her Friend, " If you think that was something"!!! Now I am going to call up my "HEAVY GUNS" and "LEVEL this BUILDING"!!! My Mother went up to the DJ Booth and said to the DJ, " Play something HOT"!!!! I want to FIRE my son up"!!! The DJ started playing this song and my energy went beyond "MAXIMUM NUCLEAR"!! Then I "SCREAMED" " DETONATE" My Sister Eva, Me, My Aunt Rose, & my Girlfriend Debbie went out on the skate floor and my mother "SCREAMED" Allie LOAD the ARSENAL"!!! All of us got in a GROOVE!!! My Mother the "SCREAMED" "Turn Everything LOOSE"!!!! My Sister Eva and my Aunt were dancing lead with me & my Girlfriend Debbie behind them. Eva and my Aunt moved to the side & my Mother "SCREAMED " "AERIAL WARS" the Debbie & I were flipping and Flying all over the Skate Floor!!! My Sister Caroline "SCREAMED" "CANNON" I Magnum fired Debbie right up to the Ceiling & spun around while I caught her. My Aunt "SCREAMED" "TOMCAT" and then I fired Debbie right Between my Mother & her Friend and SCARED the "SHIT" out of them!!!! When we got done and came off the skate floor our friends & everyone else were hugging & Kissing Debbie, Eva, Me, & my Aunt Rose. The Owner, my Mother, My Sisters Nancy & Caroline held & Kissed us in TEARS!!! My Mother's Friend & her Daughters were in tears & in "SHOCK" over what we did!!!! My Mother then told her friend that is why they are my " HEAVY GUNS"!!! because when Eva, Debbie, Allie, & Rose get on a Skate or Dance Floor they "DESTROY IT"!!! So do Nancy & Caroline!!! The Owner told my mother, " Your son has more ENERGY & DETERMINATION Than a normal person!!! This kid is on a LEVEL of his OWN!!! My Mother told her friend, "Allie is the ENERGY & DRIVING FORCE of this Family" He And his twin Sister Eva are why this family are Roller Skating & Dance Champions!!! Allie is our winning edge!!
