Being a man that was raised to never show emotion, this song really helps me communicate with my GF. I wasn't allowed to cry as a child and was always told that love and trust were a weakness. I was raised to always be the protector of my family so im never able to let my guard down so I struggle with loving my GF properly and I shut down so quickly any time there's an issue. I never told her this for years and she never knew until my sister talked about it one day and my GF was shocked. I'm not perfect. But I try my best. I've never really been able to open up to her deeply because I still struggle with that but I use music to speak to her and the 1st time I played this for her she teared up because she finally heard what I haven't been able to say.
