Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Being a man that was raised to never show emotion, this song really helps me communicate with my GF. I wasn't allowed to cry as a child and was always told that love and trust were a weakness. I was raised to always be the protector of my family so im never able to let my guard down so I struggle with loving my GF properly and I shut down so quickly any time there's an issue. I never told her this for years and she never knew until my sister talked about it one day and my GF was shocked. I'm not perfect. But I try my best. I've never really been able to open up to her deeply because I still struggle with that but I use music to speak to her and the 1st time I played this for her she teared up because she finally heard what I haven't been able to say. We're going on 8 years now and I still send her this song at times when I know I'm not doing the best I can be. This song has helped me so much 🙏🏼

This is exactly what me and my woman is going through right now....we as men tend to be cocky, arrogant and think we know everything when in fact it's the knowledgeable woman that keeps that strong balance...fellas you better start listening before she strikes...because when she's fed up she's gonna strike venom and hit where it hurts....if you got a good woman put your arrogant pride to the side and listen!!....being submissive to your woman doesn't make you a weak man...and plus you may learn a thing or two...real people in real relationships know what I'm talking about.

Had I known how to love, I would have been married to the love of my life, and started a family by now. We brother's experience a lot of traumatic events growing up in these inner-city neighborhoods. Seeing death, racism, hate, betrayal, people chasing after ungodly things, while trying to navigate through it all, and stay sound in righteousness. Always having to be strong, to face all that is against us, we lose softness in our hearts. We love our sisters, but aren't able to show it.

So true I want to help men to be more available emotionally to us women for them to understand we are not their enemies most of the time we want what's best in them and for them we have this motherly nuturing thing inside us that comes natural and most if the time men pervieve it wrongly or take what you say and do the wrong way we don't want to control or force you guys we only want to LOVE YOU that's the difference.

The singer is expressing a deep desire to learn how to love and be emotionally vulnerable in a relationship. The lyrics convey the singer’s acknowledgment of their own struggles and shortcomings when it comes to expressing emotions and affection. The song touches on traditional expectations of masculinity and the challenges of breaking down emotional barriers. The singer is asking for guidance and understanding from their partner, expressing a willingness to change and learn. They want to be shown how to love more openly, affectionately, and sincerely. The lyrics highlight a sense of vulnerability, as the singer admits that they’ve never trusted anyone enough to let them in or teach them how to truly love. Throughout the lyrics, the singer seeks to understand how to be more emotionally engaged and connected. There’s a strong desire to change for the better and to become more capable of expressing love and affection. The repetition of the phrase “Teach me how to love” emphasizes the earnestness of the request. Overall, the song conveys themes of growth, vulnerability, and a yearning to overcome emotional barriers in order to build a more loving and fulfilling relationship.

What a lesson this song is for the lovers out there. I can testify to the toxic dangers of pride in a relationship. The fear of not being in control and self-centredness was poisoning us, I have trouble confronting the pain I've caused the woman I love, and even more shocking when I realise she put up with my shit all this time. It's very humbling to know she was patient enough with me to get over myself and grow into a man in love.

This song came to my mind today, after I had just had a disagreement w/ my BF about not understanding how he interprets love to me, how rough, guarded & mean I felt he is to me, we both got so frustrated 😡 he made me cry🥺... then this song came to mind as the perfect way I was trying to share w/ him. He says I’m trying to to change him, but I am not, just simply want to teach him how to Love ME! & I want him to WANT to learn!! I pray he listens & understands what & how I am saying it. 🤞🏾 These are the perfect words!! Also after reading many comments from the men.. I apologized to My Baby for taking it so personally, not realizing so many men was having this issue!! 😩 Sorry babe.. I Love You!! 😘♈️

This song hits home in so many ways! Remembering how my mother tried to provide us with the materialistic things in life. She never knew that we needed emotional nurturing as a child. I think that is why I never have been a materialistic person. I do not look for a man to provide for me financially only emotionally. Never did I think I would hear this song and feel that I needed to be taught how to love because I had it down perfectly until I met heartbreak. Since then I have truly changed.

Every man should take notes from this song. Especially, when you have someone that's been down for you. Instead of running to social media for the next person to make u happy for a few secs.

I don't know who needs to hear or read this but it's not about dominance. It's about respecting each other and allowing whether it be male or female absolute respect. My husband and I have been together for almost 20 years and there is no man/woman it's Us!!!

I'm not perfect! I've hurt the woman of my dreams and this song just does something to me. For the rest of my life, I surrender and bow down to her. Love is forever learning and she makes me a better man. My pride and ego is probably my biggest downfall. But damn it I will not let her go. I will do whatever in my power to keep her always. ❤❤💯💯
