Dr. Balamurali Sir's compositions are always intriguing for a humble student of music and I personally have always been a little afraid of how spontaneous, brilliant and flowy they sound to the ear. When you actually sit down to learn, even the simplest of his songs - are a complex weaving of swaras, sahitya, bhakti, grammar, poetry, laya all encapsulated in the Raga bhava. His brilliant blessed talent shines through anything he touches. As sir says, he is a true performer like none other 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Rama Varma sir's indepth explanations are just amazing. Hatsoff to him for taking the time and putting in the efforts to go piece by piece to simplify the stunningly mind-boggling compositions of Dr. Balamuralikrishna for Rasikas and students alike 🌺🙏🏻 Only Varma sir can do justice to Balamurali Sir's thought process and music owing to their great Guru - Sishya sambandham 🙏🏻🪷
