MUSK MOOD (EDP) by Lattafa ....Clean, sharp powdery musk with crazy good performance 😎

This is a musk (obviously) dominated fragrance; the bit of citrus and the bit of floral play second fiddle to the musk, vanilla and amber. Performance is VERY impressive, giving a decent size scent bubble and plenty of scent memory trail for a good 4 hours. Yes it leans feminine, but for a guy who enjoys the scent and wears it with confidence, he will get the compliments...enjoy JL

Can you tell me if it smells similar to Jovan White Musk for women or more like Alyssa Ashley Musk. I love Jovan White Musk. I'm not a fan of Alyssa Ashley Musk. Jovan White Musk is a clean skin musk scent while Alyssa Ashley is more powdery and sort of dated scent.

Hi Jon, i think i have already mentioned a few my cheapies, that deserve attention. Like Byblos Learher Sensation, Pascal Morabito Sultan Noir, Benetton Colors Black, Pascal Morabito Anima Nera, Pascal Morabito Mediterranee and so on, but all of them are strictly masculine scents. Talking of unisex(2/3masculine and 1/3 feminine) a can recommend to anybody J's Exte Man - Orris, Thyme, Oregano, Vanille......gorgeous scent, very good performance and ridiculous price here in Bulgaria, only 6.50 EUR for 50ml. Cool and cold weather scent, often compared to Dior Homme and Dior Homme Intense. Wish you all best and i am happy for your new camera equipment.

Nice review, Leggy. Long live Lattafa, making us smell great for next to nothing. Just wanted to add, there are 3 oud moods; original, reminiscence, and elixir. It's important to know which one you're buying. Elixir is the one with the fecal barnyard oud so be wary. I grew up smelling oud everywhere but this one is a no no even for me.

Okay awesome question…I like reminiscent but to me it’s just okay…musk mood is awesome sharp clean feminine leaning long lasting, and I have to pick the correct occasion for me to wear that one…and then there’s the original…. And that is a sexy, sweet, very powerful, slightly Oudy very unisex fragrance that the moment you put it on you want to go out and socialise….the original is FUN…and everyone around you enjoys the gorgeous scent trail off you!!!! In many ways the original will always be the most reached for because it transports you to a happy zone….and maybe I have answered your question…or at least given you enough information to help…..take care and keep spraying…..JL

Try oud mood reminiscent wich is from the same line I love it ..! It has a silver cup and white ribbon band the packaging as the bottles are all the same 😀

Thanks for your question, this fragrance smells like fresh clean washing…a little citrus over vanilla and a very wearable sweet musk. Although most people would see it as having a female lean trust me this is perfect for a man…wear it with confidence…and you will enjoy it and most likely get compliments. Why does everyone on the internet accuse Lattafa of making "Clones" and "Copy Cat" fragrances? Very annoying. I have always gotten the impression that Lattafa is a legitimate perfumery that comes up with their own scents. What's your word on this, Jon?

Okay so it’s a good point that you make; from my observation I have some Lattafa’s that are completely unique and I have some that sail very close to designer and niche fragrances. For example Lattafa’s ASAD is very close to Dior Sauvage elixir and Ana abiyedh edp is very close to Erba Pura and Ana abiyedh rouge is very close to BR540 PARFUM extract. Okay so my logic is that they do draw inspiration from popular fragrances and in many cases produce a juice that is often incredibly close to them, never however are they an exact 1 on 1 clone. What happens is that in every case, when they sail very close to another fragrance they do so in a very Arabic way. So the outcome is an inspired fragrance with a Lattafa twist !!! This kind of perfumery is always going to win hearts because we may like the kinda mainstream smells but to avoid smelling like everyone else then to get a twist on them means smelling unique…The other massive plus point with Lattafa’s is to do what they do at such a tiny price tag and often the performance smashes the fragrance that it smells similar to….it means that you and I as the wearers are enjoying the best of both worlds.
