Detta är Muskelrockfilmen.
Festivalen Muskelrock förtjänar en film. Platsen, människorna, musiken, allting är något speciellt och tillhör en egen värld. Idéen om att göra en film kom spontant. Vi bestämde oss dagen innan festivalen året 2016 skulle gå av stapeln. Vi tog med oss den utrustning vi hade och planerandet skedde i bilen på väg dit. Vi drog runt på området och snackade med folk, artister och filmade en massa. Kanske det bara skulle bli en kort trailer, kanske något lite längre. Det blev denna 30 minuter kort-dokumentär om Muskelrock med ett fokus på vad Muskelrock innebär, vad det kommer ifrån, vilka som är där, hur diskussionen kring begreppet ”True” går och vad som gör festivalen till en helt unik värld.

This is Musclerock - the movie
The festival Muskelrock deserves a movie. The place, the people, the music, everything has something special and belongs to a own kind of world. The idea of making a movie came spontaneous. We decided to do it a day prior to the start of the festival 2016. We brought what gear we had and planned it in the car going there. Then we walkt around the festival and talked to visitors, bands and just filmed a lot. Maybe this was just going to be a short trailer, or something else. It became this, a 30 minute short documentary whit a focus on what Muskelrock is about, what came out of, who´s going, how´s the discussion around the term "true" is, and what is it that makes this festival to a uniq world.
