I caught a 30in muskie at a local reservoir spillway. Not much to brag about but it was my first muskie so it was a fair sized one.

I know a place like that off Lake Huron in Ontario. The jump isn’t as big though and they usually clear it the first time.

Musky fishing day I have no idea, I am at 3,000 and something casts with 1 hook and loss. Morale is low, hooks are dull, my arms are buffer than before, but I am still on the quest to catch one.

Awesome video but i can't help but think how that man made dam negatively impacts their spawning patterns. A lil fish ramp where the water flows down instead of cascading over could make a huge difference. Although i doubt civil engineers are thinking about musky spawning...

Put in a fricken ladder for 'em. Do that for salmon, would be simple addition for them muskies.
@madtownangler4 жыл бұрын
They have a carp problem in the lower lake. That is one reason why the wall is so much higher than it used to be. The carp were killed in the lake and they netted the whole thing. You can catch more below the lake in a few more weeks if you know where to go.
