Looks like the groomer needs to get fixed asap! One of my favorite riding spots is 15 miles of whoops if the groomer is down. I feel bad for the purple princess. I liked the narrating from after the fact. Thanks for another great video Matt!

Love the channel man I watch every morning. Gets me so pumped to ride like this but I have no mountains like that here. So yesterday after watching I put a hundred miles on my sled and then shoveled my roof. I figure that's bout the same thing 😄

Also a note for your medical kits keep Tylenol and Ibuprofen. In combo use 1000 mg Tylenol as directed and next dose add 600 mg every 6h or 800 mg every 8 hours of ibuprofen. Always good to have something in your tummy for those so they don't irritate your guts. Best to always use gel type ibuprofen its better on your gut. This is equivalent to a good dose of Morphine. I have had plenty of bustups. And a disco shoulder. Sucks getting out with that one. Ouch Oh and one more first aid item. Dental floss with a sewing needle. Use it in a pinch to stitch up a bad laceration and you can also use it to sew up a jacket, pants, seat etc. This is from years as an adventure bike rider and Paramedic.

Awesome episode...The last hill you guys had to pull out is tough with a ton of fresh. I had to double my buddy out of it last year on my turbo and then had to slide down on my ass and ride his sled out. He was on an older 2014. Such a rad zone.

One of the few channels I have found that don't put music in every clip and you aren't even able to hear the sweet sweet sound of those sleds. Turbos or NA can or not still sounds better ripping up a mountain side then any overlay music would

Bro you need to get some ROK straps to hold items on your sled, bikes etc. They can be used on anything to tighten whatever down. They make 2 sizes. They are bomb proof! I use them on all my dirtbikes. They are the best thing to strap down hard or soft items and will NOT loosen or come off. The strap has one side that is stretchy, so when you place an item underneath it always is squeezing. If you use what you have now, a static strap, ie. not changing. If you placed a soft bag under, that soft bag always settles (Dynamic) and if you use a static type strap on a dynamic item it will always become loose over time and you'll likely need to always tighten it, or lose it. Get a pair of ROK straps and you'll never go back. Please look them up. At the bike shows in Calgary we always sold out of them with Mountain Motorrad. Trust me! Mike

I'm a dedicated user of hot hands heat packs, for cold hands , for a bout a buck a pair they keep your hands warmer and if you take your gloves off they are not frozen when you put them back on . Saved my ride a few times when hand grip warmers quit also . Feet cold throw some in there , Whining buddy give him a pair.

man i remember my first time in bc we went to valemount sledding. i wasn’t very skilled at the time and me and a friend were just messing around in a meadow and i somehow fell off and dislocated my shoulder. good thing it was my first time there because i had so much adrenaline just from the deep snow alone it didn’t hurt that bad. but once we got back to the hotel, holy man i was hurting. 😂 has to ride 5 more days in pain lmao

Matt or someone else who knows, I am in montana and want to go ride up that way next year. My question is, do they allow you to park overnight in the parking lots? I have a pickup camper and a enclosed trailer and in MT I usually just stay the weekend in the parking lot. appreciate any insight on this.
@scottramsey8792 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately not at Boulder or Frisbee parking lots, you could however talk to some of the close by businesses ie; Fullspeed, Peaks lodge, etc and find out. I'm sure with a bit of cash and a bunch of beers anything could be worked out.
@marknewman86092 жыл бұрын
Honestly with your dollar being so much better then our Canadian dollar its so cheap for you to stay in a cabin or hotel. Look me up if you do come. I own Last Spike Lodging which is sled cabins 3 miles from this locations parking lot.

@themeach0112 жыл бұрын
I think Matt's sled keeps track of GPS kms travelled as well as track kms. I remember one video he said his track read 18 miles and his gps said 10 or something like that. But on the trail the track miles and GPS miles would be the same. Not till u get in the deep snow that it would become way different
