I'm enjoying these videos as much as the snow season ones. I think giving some perspective and detail on what your doing and why is what makes both seasons enjoyable.

Man I must say you literally live my dream life, I want to be an operator of some sort. I own a gold mine and run a mini excavator now but I would like to do something bigger. Then in winter you blast mountains all day. You have inspired me sir and I thank you for that.

Mind set shouldn’t be on a seadoo my guy..wanna live the “dream”….you gotta make it first. Turn that seadoo money in to a cheap D4 dozer….or something for the business…fun come after, once that small operation is a big operation..then you can think seadoo

@@keeginlablance859 oh but I have all of the equipment I need that’s why i was thinking of a skidoo, it is more or less to survey land in the winter and for some fun of course. But I own a excavator and a small dozer along with a Little Rock truck, then my 2 friends have some of their equipment as well. My dream is to be able to spend what I want when I want and I’m close to achieving that so I think a skidoo is okay 🤪

great video I finally got a chance to run new john deere excavators and one of the first things I noticed was the picture quality in the camera along with some other things that made me think they got a lot of in cab catchup to do to be in the same ballpark as a next-gen cat

That's a really nice machine! Way to get after it Matt and Jerry! Seems best to use the biggest machine you can fit into jobs and feasibly transport around. I've really grown to like our zero tail swing machines! I wasn't a fan at first from a wrenching perspective but after using them more on residential jobs I'm always taking the zero tail now whenever it'a free.

Joystick blocks the screen..also if you have any dirt on your hands/gloves it will fall directly into your drink they put the cup holder right under the joystick..decent tho.. kinda loud too

Brandt relocated from their old facility to a brand spanking new, state of the art building here in Fredericton. I drive passed it every morning going to work. All illuminated with big spot lights shining on the brand new heavy equipment 👌👍👊. Great video Matt … enjoy that new 245G lc. A+++

I’m not a fan of Brandt. They only sell their attachments on the machines now. I think their stuff is junk. We bought a used 350 last year and it came with a new Brandt bucket. The bucket didn’t even last 8 months before it completely fell apart

Interesting Septic system. They won't let you put in a system like that around here. I had to put in an ugly mound system, fed with a pump from the third tank of a 3 tank system. As I recall the pipes in the mound were only 2" dia. I would have rather it to be a gravity system instead of using a pump. I am enjoying watching your summer fun Ha Ha! Keep them coming.

Most of our beds are like this unless we get in to a treatment unit. Which I haven’t done much of but other guys in the company have. I’ve seen the beds you’re talking about but never around here. Thanks!

Mounds are necessary with a high water table or no drainage. They're also an overly complex and expensive option when you're not forced to do it by local codes.

Nobody ever puts the receiver at the top of story pole? I was taught yrs ago to put it on top and adj the rod up or down. I guess mounted on number u don't have to think about it

I’m with you on the no-blade confusion. It’s not forwards or backwards, it’s toward the blade or away. Unless there’s no blade. Then it’s just forward but in the other direction. Usually wrong.

Beeps fast if high, beeps solid if exactly level, beeps slow if low. If it doesn’t beep then you’re more than an inch out.

I’ve been running the same machine lately, love it for civil shit. Recently installed 3, two piece concrete septic tanks and each half weighed 15,000 pounds. It could pick ‘em up 4 feet if they were almost touching the cab and no bucket 🤟🏽

Its not so strange that we swedes says that you need an Engcon, here it is more or less standard. If I would try to rent even a small 3 ton excavator it would almost be hard to find one without an Engcon.

Your productivity will really increase with Encon or Rototilt and some additional tools such as laser level on bucket 😉 = stay west even longer

@@MuskokaFreerider that's what me and my dad use too. when using 4 inch you just have a taller pipe to cover with more stone so 3 inch is more profitable i guess. my dad went to brooklin a while back to pick up some 3 inch and they said they mostly sell 4 inch. and what's funny with them is that they sell 8 foot lengths so you need to buy more to Finnish your project.

Be careful of that Groeneveld auto greaser. We have lots of problems with them in Alberta. The controller isn’t very user friendly without the manual to follow

Hey, I have been following your channel for a while and thinking about moving to Canada from Sweden, seems like your salaries are way higher (and your houses cheaper). In Sweden I work as an underground mining truck driver but only make 3200 USD after taxes, no free housing, no free food, and this is supposed to be a "high" salary here. Do you have any ideas what I could make working in an underground mine in Canada? Or hell, I could even learn to operate an excavator, how much do you make after taxes doing that? I am open for different jobs.
