Please speak on the practical solution as well. The Ummah has millions to splurge in weddings. When will the Ummah wake up and come up together to establish gender segregated Campuses. Despite being the world's 3rd largest muslim population here, There is not a single gender segregated muslim University, whether its medical, engineering or any other for that matter. And by this i mean even the professoriate. Because if you go for suppose a practical field like gynecology, its absolutely impossible to stay segregated and maintain hijab and sometimes even escape exploitation as i have myself faced while pursuing medicine and have to eventually choose to drop out. I urge you to make an appeal to the Ummah to set up such educational institutions.

With due respect sir, I didn't get your conclusion. If what you say is true (I'm saying 'if' because having been to a university myself and having taught there as well, I don't recall seeing Muslim girls being childish like the way you are mentioning. Neither does everyone try to run away with them.) Anyway my question is, considering what you're saying is true, what do you think is the cause for this ? You said yourself that Muslim girls do not get enough recognition in their own family. Nobody praises them or notices their abilities and skills. Don't you think they deserve it ? Don't you think humans by nature want to form an identity of themselves ? If they are denied this at home, why blame the educational system ? Why blame people who are not Muslims ? Believing the fact that everything around you is rotten and muslim girls who are "incapable of rational thinking" are ever victims to the so called sinful society is not going to take anyone anywhere sir..

Aman, I guess then you've not been a lot into colleges or at least its been time that you last were in a college. Frankly speaking from your entire comment it seems you are living in a wonderland. This is a everyday scene in colleges especially in the metropolitan cities - the Shaykh himself is an well-educated scholar who, if I remember correctly, has completed his MCA from University of Pune (not the name of the Uni has changed to Savitribai Phule Pune University). He is a software-developer who now develops as part of his hobbies as and when he gets time. Three years graduation and three years in post-graduation (MCA is a three-year program), is enough time to understand the campus-life. This is just to show you that the Shaykh is speaking from personal experience. Pune is a renowned educational-hub of India. There are several news-articles on news websites like Siasat, TwoCircles relating to this phenomenon which the Shaykh has referred to. It is a clear-cut political strategy being used to exploit gullible Muslim-girls, whilst simultaneously blaming innocent Muslim-boys of "Love J*had". The cause for this is a political-strategy and social-engineering at use by the so-called "tolerant", "pluralistic" and "non-violent" privileged majority of India. Parents usually don't praise kids in front of them, they keep boasting about how their kids are behind their backs to their friends, families and other relatives. But these same parents they give their all, to make sure that the kids get everything (love, care, protection, material things, education etc.) they want and even love them no matter what. Indian parents be it Muslim or otherwise aren't very good at expressing their love in comparison to their Western counterparts who know how to express their love to their kids - it is more of a cultural thing. This needs to change. Anyways, this is what the Shaykh meant - which is the reality of our society. Parents love their kids to the core but cannot express it - and a teen obviously misunderstands this as "non-recognition" on the part of his/her parents. Whilst a monster comes with a fake-smile, false-promises, false-respect, fake-love, frauds the poor girl due to her gullibility and ruins her life forever. There is a famous adage called "Love is blind". No matter how rational or educated a girl is, if she hasn't studied Islamic belief-system and ethical-system, hasn't studied modern-day risks facing Muslim-youths and elders, or hasn't listened to Muslim-counsellors and preachers on such subjects she will never understand the plots and problems that lay ahead in her life. And, will never be able to avoid them. No matter how educated you are, if you don't know about the intricacies of finance or don't have a financial advisor you will be defrauded by frauds luring around! Why do you think we've CAs, financial advisors, risk-advisors? The most intelligent and educated people always avail the services of these professionals to avoid frauds and losses. Similarly, the Muslim-girl needs to get good education on Islamic belief-system, ethics, history, and should be in contact with Muslim-counselors, advisors and preachers who can guide her. Sadly, the parents don't see this as important blindly-trusting their kids to be "strong, intelligent and sharp Muslims", and here is where they fail. The solution is clear, Beti padho = worldly and religious studies, Beti bachao = constant guidance from Muslim-preachers, advisors and counselors. Maybe you didn't realise but the Shaykh is criticising majorly the Muslim-parent who don't realise the importance of an Islamic-education and Islamic-association.

@@BlackWhite-jr7mp If your solution of being enlightened to the real world and avoiding practical problems through which every teen has to go through is immersing oneself in religious studies, then I'd rather love to live in a so called wonderland that you believe I'm in thank you very much. And typical to the Indian system of character judgement these days, a full paragraph of your enormously large essay addresses the educational qualifications of the shaikh. It doesn't matter what all he's done. For you information, I have come across students from sevaral educational institutions... Indians, foreigners, of all religion...but let's not go overboard with my qualifications and experiences shall we ? As I'd rather not keep honking about my qualifications like you've done with your Shaikh. The fact is, the more close minded you are, the easier it is for you to get influenced by the belief that men wooing women or vice versa for the sake of converting them to another religion. Studying religion is good, but unfortunately, religious studies has become a form of brainwashing for young minds. If you're talking about political motives, it goes without saying that religion can be the most effective political tool to some people and it's easy to influence people especially from the 3rd world against one another using religion.

@@amanmallick6120 , It is hard to communicate with 'colonised minds' - be it colonised by Hindu-religion(s) or the secular-liberal discourse. I hope you don't act like one of the colonised minds for long. I assume, correct me if I'm wrong, that you are a Hindu (it doesn't matter even if you are a Muslim). Earlier your ancestral family was brainwashed by the Hindu-establishment into believing into Hindu-cult(s) and varna-ashrama which led to the the jaati-system (caste-system) and a hoard lot of things (mostly superstitions) and today you've been brainwashed by the secular-liberal-establishment to believe in the secular-liberal discourse. You need to push-back and start learning things for your own self. This is where the religious-studies come in as they are the beginning point for any intelligent person. Begin with your way-of-life and learn all about others as well. Luring Muslim-girls' into "love" and then abandoning them is a well-known phenomenon - there are innumerable instances to cite here. Sadly, you lack the cognition even that of a common man thus my comment on your lack of experience (or maybe insincerity), perhaps if you had been a sincere seeker and searched for the news-articles you wouldn't be blabbering about this as some "conspiracy"! There are tons of articles in news stating this reality, in-fact recently Muslim-girls' were being "auctioned" using their photos and information found online on a app created by Hindus - or am I "closed minded" to even conjure such news! Intellectually dishonest and insincere people will not believe, no matter what evidences are produced. I assumed you aren't one of them, hence I pointed out to renowned news-agencies covering news especially related to marginalised minorities. Shaykh Abu Zaid Zameer isn't my "Shaykh" I've not studied with him nor have I listened to him for long - ironically I've severe disagreements with his 'political quietist' views and on other methodological issues but he was apt here. Also, your "superiority complex" is ill-placed and shows how little you understand of anything. You ridiculously and implicitly believe that I'm "closed minded" because I'm into or calling toward "religious studies" or into "religion". Such, reductionist views are thrown usually by secular-liberal-atheistic propagandists or Hindu-propagandists. The modern education system is the largest brain-washing system in existence! Each government uses it for propagating its ideology. Congress utilised it to spread 'soft-Hindutva', BJP uses it to spread 'Hindutva', the CPI used it to spread atheistic-secular-liberalism, AIMIM utilises it to spread the "Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb"! It is not just "religion" rather any "belief or non-belief" will be imposed if the established holds onto it as true. Just like China has imposed secular-liberalism on social front and atheism on the 'theological' front on its citizens curtailing their basic rights! You blaming religions as the most "effective political tool " is again unhistorical and exhibits the extent to which you are brainwashed. Was Stalin religious? Was Mao religious? Also, when you are into religious-studies you eventually start learning other philosophies after knowing the salient features of your own. I've studied (not just read) Vedas, Bhagvad-gita (with innumerable bhashyas and tikas), dharma-shastras, puranas, Bible with few commentaries, and lastly Atheism. It needs to be studied about, so as to understand the atheistic world-view - I'm not boasting rather disproving your ridiculous claim of those into 'religions' or 'religious studies' being close-minded. If you doubt my studies go ahead and ask me for instance about Hindu-religion(s) - I will quote the works several acharyas and gurus on the question you ask. Guess what, logic and philosophy are important subjects of religious-studies or any Islamic religious curriculum! If you want, just check how even Sufis like Hamza Yusuf have delivered entire courses on logic! Just check the curriculum of Zaytuna College (California), and these are Sufis who are more into rituals and less into systemic knowledge as prescribed by Islam, yet if you see their syllabus, you'll understand how even these less-inclined people learn about logic, philosophy, other world-views and ideologies. Or if you are truly interested you should read "The 'ulama of Farangi Mahall and Islamic Culture in South Asia" (Permanent Black, 2001) by Francis Robinson, a leading historian of South Asia wherein he goes through the curriculum of madrasas and a lot of other things showing the same! Neither lay Muslims nor non-Muslims know anything about Islam and this is what raises all the issues we face today. I will judge people by their apparent. If a person is naked, he will be called out for it. If he is good, he will be called good. If he is bad, he will be called bad. "Don't judge" is a farce spread by the semi-literate liberals, only those who lack in logic and philosophy will hold onto it. If you wanted to live in your wonderland you shouldn't have commented on the video. My paragraphs should give you a reality-check if you are sincere. Else, I don't mind writing a book here on KZbin (if it permits) with the title "Aman in the Wonderland".

That you are close minded my friend, is reflected quite clearly when you so easily assumed I belong to a particular religious sect. I however, won't disclose my religious affiliation, as I don't like playing it cheap like you. How easy it is to counter a person who says something against a religious guru huh ? Brand him as a product of colonialism, a Hindu, or an atheist...and there ends the argument right ? And who the heck are you to say I'm not supposed to comment to this video ? You're feeling insecure about your religion ? Calm down and read my previous comment once again. I never said studying religion is a bad thing. I can do a lot of boasting if I could but I'd rather stick to my argument. Knowing the good things about a religion is never a bad thing. However, using it as a political tool, which people generally end up doing is a danger to humankind. Funny you talk about my mindset being colonial...not that I mind it being so, if at all it were...you seem to be way too satisfied with news articles about 'incidents' that you mention. Judging by your ignorance and radical mindset, I don't find it hard to believe that you conveniently ignore the fact that news articles could in fact, be written by political minded people...people who want to influence an ignorant, easy to fool lot for a purpose...oh and that rings a bell ! Was this not the same tactic used by the British to polarize the two religious sects of India ? Looks like you're a fan of that ! Before so foolishly branding someone as a "supporter of colonialism" do take a look at who's footsteps you're treading. I guess I wasted a lot of my time arguing with you. Keep oppressing women with stringent rules, keep them from carrying smartphones and treat your boys like kings for all I care. But please do me a favour, send me that book you're planning to write with such a wonderful title... I'd like to keep it to have a good laugh whenever I need one 😂
