The last point this gentleman said really hit home for me. I was there once. I could see the truth in Jesus but the spirit of fear held me tight. I was terrified about what would happen to me if I gave my life to Christ. I felt stuck between two paths that both said I’d be going to hell if I didn’t follow. In the end I took it straight to God. I said “I need You to tell me who You are! I cannot rely on the testimony of a person for my salvation. I need to know the truth of who you are. If You show me, I will worship you for the rest of my life” And He did… in a way I can never question. He is the Truth, The Way and the Life! I think the brother should take his question to God. He is able to reveal Himself and call his son home

Jesus is fully God & fully man because he is the son of God . Which makes him truly God and also born of a human mother which makes him truly human just like the rest of us. Because he is truly God and truly human . He is the only one who can bridge the gap between God and Humanity. Jesus being truly God truly man by design is what allows him to bridge the gap between God & Man. Jesus being fully God and fully man is so essential to faith. This is essential because in order to fully be propitiation for our sin. In order to fully be the mediator, that is why he is fully God & fully man.
