May Allah reward you for your very important and necessary message. Your message did not come as a surprise for African-American Muslims because we have had to be on the defensive since the founding fathers wrote the constitution. However, using divide and conquer, America was able to convince the rest of the (affluent) Muslim community that you were safe. They were told that all they had to do was to be a good American citizen but they were not told that being a good citizen meant selling their soul.

SubhanAllah. Great thoughts and reminders, Imam Tom. May Allah protect you and all family members In’sha’Allah. Sura 95:4-5, “We have indeed created man in the best of moulds. Then do We abase him to be the lowest of the low, -except such as believe and do righteous deeds: for they shall have a reward unfailing.” Sura 10:41, “If they charge thee with falsehood, say: “My work to me, and yours to you.” Ye are free from responsibility for what I do, and I for what ye do!” Confucius: “Man is the representative of Heaven and is supreme over all things.” May schools and public places give due respect and space for each person’s value systems, not just the latest popular fad groups, at the cost of everyone else’s values. Islam already teaches tolerance and coexistence harmoniously-and never have we teachers forced our ways on our students-why should anyone else force their hedonism and deviant book talks on our children and grandchildren? “There is no compulsion in Religion.” Quranic code of ethics.

The problem is that most of the parents who would be at school board meetings are already homeschooling or sending their kids to Islamic schools, so we don't think to show up and advocate on behalf of the kids who's parents still send them to these schools. We need courses on homeschooling all across the US. You will meet a ton of ppl who claim they can't afford it or they don't have time. But rarely will any of those ppl have a story about how they tried and failed. Typically, they never actually tried. They just looked at the mountain and said, "I can't climb that." They need to know how realistic it is and how many ways it can be done. At the end of the day, a poor education or no education at all is better than sending your kids to be indoctrinated by enemies to Islam. And homeschooled kids typically get the better education anyway.

I have an Idea ,as someone not in USA. Plenty of qualified people would be willing to teach (online)for what would for people living in the wet be a mall amount of money. I think this needs to be better discussed and initiated. Perhaps once dawagram is launched, it could be used a well.

Erm, it seems these laws already passed in New York akhi. In 2003, New York's Sexual Orientation Non-Discrimination Act (SONDA) took effect. SONDA "prohibits discrimination on the basis of actual or perceived sexual orientation in employment, housing, public accommodations, education, credit, and the exercise of civil rights." The 2003 law also explicitly includes "asexuality", a first for the United States.[34] Originally, the law did not include gender identity. On December 16, 2009, Governor David Paterson issued an executive order banning discrimination based on gender identity in state employment.[35][36] Courts have also ruled that transgender individuals can pursue anti-discrimination claims under the category of "sex".[37] Beginning in 2007, the New York State Assembly passed the Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Act (GENDA) ten times. The bill would add gender identity to the state's anti-discrimination laws.[38][39][40] Each time it reached the State Senate, however, the bill died in that body's Judiciary Committee. A recent instance of such a defeat was April 25, 2017, when five Republicans and one Democrat on the N.Y. Senate Investigations and Government Operations Committee voted against it.[41] On May 5, 2018, it was voted down by the same committee (5 Republicans against, 4 Democrats in favor).[42] In January 2019, however, the Committee on Investigations and Government Operations voted in favor of the gender identity discrimination bill by a 6-0 vote, and both the State Assembly and the State Senate passed it by votes of 100-40 and 42-19, respectively. The same month, Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the bill into law.[43][44] The law went into effect on February 24, 2019, as per the New York Constitution.[45][46]
