Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatulLah wa barkatuH, i just listened to the ayah 4:34 series of khutbahs and I've been looking for the videos with the continuation of the discussion but i cant find them. And i saw in the description of this video, the shiekh affirmed that the discussion would be continued. If someone could please point me in their direction. JazakumulLah khairan

Yeah the way he said "whoever changes his religion, kill him" was the most polite ever of this kind.

I don’t really agree because its not specifically prohibited in Quran! Or Hadith!

Its an imitation of celebrating the core belief of Christianity nowadays, which is Jesus (PBUH) was cruxified and died for their sins. Any activities or representation from that belief is strictly prohibited within Islam. There are many other ways we can be nice to non-muslim without compromising our belief.

I am upon Tawheed the five pillars and 6 articles of faith so wht others did in the past is irrelevant. So the Only Prohibition in truth is Saying Jesus is Allah or the Son of Allah. That is what’s haraam. Not wishing someone merry Christmas or giving girls to orphans and the needy. Also a perfect time to give dawah.

There is nothing wrong to say to Christian friends 'Merry Christmas', its only intention is to greet them on the occasion of prophet Isha(PBUH) Birthday, not any other intentions.

What are you saying when you say merry Christmas? Listen properly can Allah have a son?

Birthdays is a Christian and Jewish celebration in the first place. So how can you say it’s ok. Plus that’s not even the birth date of ISA AS. You need to educate yourself before you come on the comment section and speak on behalf of Islam when you’re a person of no knowledge.
