Its for both :) The way that Muslim see dawah is that its just getting people to understand the religion. In this case, understanding that Muslims help out with the community. If you see at 1:10, he says the purpose of helping out is basically to remove things out of harms way - just typical community work. Muslims have been the target of a stereotype for so long, that its time for us to rise and put something positive in the community.

They want to discuss their religion with people because its what the organisation does, but if a person doesn't want to discuss then that's okay. I just like seeing people with smiles on their faces, I'm sure the people at iERA do too.

By dawah means, they are doing for the sake of Allah and not for for other intention to get popularity or getting praise and this is the most noble intention. By this, Muslims are showing that they are friendly and open to everyone. Most beloved Prophet Muhammad pbuh also encourage Muslims to be good to non-Muslims. Insya Allah, the non-Muslims also may be attracted to learn about Islam or at least getting closer with other Muslims in the community. May Allah rewards them!

First of all why do you have to emphasis that you are a Muslim while you are clearing snow. Is such an act by Muslims so rare that you have to make a video about it? Secondly why not just clear the snow and leave it at that if your intentions are purely based on helping people in your neighborhood. It is clear by your "gift" that your intention is to spread Islam after gaining their trust by clearing snow for them. Ayayay!!!

Cleaning the street in a neighborhood you live in has nothing to do with your so called god or promotion of islam. I did this every winter as a kid and now I do this around my neighborhood as an adult. If you wanna clean around your mosque do it quietly, no need to impose your religion propaganda.
