Who Jesus was/in in his own words? Where do you find them: from hearsay evidence, rather than eyewitnesses’ account? There are 4 canonised written accounts of what Jesus did and said. Why dismiss the accounts of 4 MALE witnesses, sufficient for even proving adultery, in favour of one account by a non-witness? For me, this is where the double standards are: proving something by 4 witnesses and dismissing the 4 witnesses when their accounts aren't favourable to your views.
