This is a discussion with a scholar of Islam Abdul Alam Zaidi, who is very well versed in Islamic literature, History, Arabic Language and fiqh.
This video addresses many questions that confuse Muslims today. It responds to the arguments of apologetic Muslims and liberals "Why do Muslims who are against western philosophy or hegemony follow their technology and medicine?
Why are Muslims not leading the world? Why do Muslims want to rule the world? Is Islam a personal matter? Is western philosophy superior to Islam? Many non Caucasian scientists have made huge discoveries and their work has led to major inventions or discoveries known to the world. I know one Pakistani endocrinologist who first discovered determination of pregnancy from urine sample and his work is documented. There many unsung soldiers of all races like him. Also Muslims contributed in the past in many fields. It is documented and visible in many cases. Things don’t happen in silos and one thing led to another in the history.

The real issue is not being addressed. Made up beliefs need to be identified by studying Quran which is criterion between falsehood and truth. We are not looking at ourselves need to purify from misconceptions and assumptions by learning Arabic language and reciting the Quran without prenotions. We try to understand it through unreliable hadith Jewish books and Greek Hindu philosophy. Recognizing falsehood and rejecting it then we can take the first step towards success. Otherwise we will be stumbling in darkness for ever. Allah forbids.

Just get overview of some topics in physics like quantum mechanics, dark matter, dark energy, string theory, quantum fluctuations, inflationary theory, singularity and also cosmology with different topics of universe e.g its beginning, future, multiverses etc etc After going through all these things u are then recommended philosophy and theology of science, and religion, and your personal perspective in the end! Just don’t worry i am also an accountant having entirely a different field!
