Over the years I still find amazingly difficult just to understand Noto; he is so fast and precise sheathing the katana...and that's just the start of the technique.

looks like the stuff martial arts writers get their inspiration from, really impressive =)

He is simply doing Okuden Noto, in which the majority of the sword is sheathed quickly but enough is left out so another fast Nukitsuke is possible in event of anyone else attacking. Makes perfect sense when you practice it.

I believe that it is his intention in re-sheathing fast to do so because he is use to drawing from the sword "fully" sheathed every time. When the sword is half in the saya or half out, it might not be the best position. I believe further that he knows if anyone is around him before he puts his sword in the saya, and should someone come he would be ready with his sword completley in the saya. What do you think about this?

:S it look s pritty kool but in the end in the style muso shinden ryu you dont need to make notos putting sword away) fast at all why would you its the time to make sure there is no one elce around you for attacks. but over all quite nice

What's the name of the style where the sword is sheathed after nearly every attack?
