If it says anything of a Maine built boat the Americas Cup sailboat race had two 46’ Jarvis Newmans built for tenders for the series. Chosen for their speed and handling in rough weather.

The MR 46 typically has 750 to 800 hp...I've seen as much as 1200hp. Typical WOT is around 24 or 25 kts. Thanks for watching!

15.5 feet is the beam on the 46. Not sure if they do a narrower version.
