I was that parasite at one time. I wish my friends would have had this conversation with me, instead I lost friends. Now I see the energy I brought. It will never happen again. First, I’ve learned so much and won’t accept what I did when I was younger. Second, I have grown since then and try not to be a constant source of complaints to any of my friends. It was an important lesson to learn for sure. So I can definitely respect your honesty!

Guys, a closed mussel has the same chance of making you sick as an open one - it’s best for you to smell your seafood to detect any bad odors before cooking them.

I’ve lost a couple friendships because i told them i was done hearing about them complain about their man! I said if you’re going to continue to stay with them then zip it!!! It’s annoying and it is an energy suck!!! my biggest pet peeve is when someone complains nonstop about their significant other yet posts nothing but happy posts and pictures on their social media lol

Hi Nina, I've been watching you for over a decade, and you've really helped and shaped me with your advice!! Also, I've made the mistake of venting a lot about my man to others, without leaving the situation... because I guess I needed that validation that my side of the story is right...I needed and sought that comfort from others and still stay...so it's my own fault no matter what. Nina..long time viewer. I'm talking from your swap days with other KZbinrs. When you were having issues your supporters sent you tons of Amazon items for you and your son. So in your time of need you were helped. Even when you were homeless. So if your best friend needs help, you wouldn't help? I love ya girl..but sometimes things don't make sense.

OMG.... I was the same way! I would let people into my friend-space before I got to know them , you know trying be a good person. Sometimes only to find out that we didn't fit or I really didn't like them, then I had to distance myself... I know better now. I wait to see if things will work now before I let people in. So much easier and healthier this way! Nina, we're Virgos and I think we are always trying to help or be a good person , sometimes sacrificing our peace..... we know better now!!! I'm not exactly sure that someone who lives alone, and openly states repeatedly that you like it that way, and don't WANT anyone around you? And clearly has not been successful in a relationship? Is really in the position of authority to be telling anyone anything about how to handle their relationship, and getting pissed off when people don't want to follow your "advice" Nina.. I think you need to maybe lower your expectations in the world, and maybe you'll have a successful relationship? Idk...sounds bitchy as fuck to me...Today is my 17 yr anniversary...together for 20...We have an incredibly happy relationship...IF I had problems in my relationship and I had a "friend" try and talk to me like you do? Talking down to me like that? You don't have to worry, I wouldn't call you...period...and you can continue to lose friends, and sit there alone...I'm glad you enjoy your life alone, because that's probably how you're going to stay...I'm not even trying to be nasty to you..I've watched you since 2016...but sometimes you blow me away when I hear you talk...Someone needs to hold up a GIANT mirror in front of you so that you actually see yourself...Just because you've gained financial success? Means nothing Nina...You'll figure it out though....just hope you're able to do that before you're 70 and still alone....The ONLY "rule" I agree with you on? We’ve got to be careful who we call “friend”. To me that title has heavy weight, and people have to prove themselves. I have a few very very close friends, others that are just people I work with and everyone else is an acquaintance or a stranger.

Yes, the green lip are a bit more fishy , start with the black ones if you try them, but it also depends on the sauce

you were in a bad place before, i don't get how you cannot sympathise with your 'friends' and would just cut them off when you can see they are in a really bad place which you can relate to. I've watched you a long time and it seems that as soon as you're good in your life you dump whoever isn't in as good of a place that you are right now. You of all should be able to sympathise considering where you were and how far you've come. You just want wealthy, happy people in your life?

That’s not what she was saying. Just because we have a past doesn’t mean we need to make ourselves entertain toxic behavior from people because they are our friends. We’re allowed to grow and only allow people who are on the same vibration as us. A lot of people use their friends as therapists instead of actually going to therapy and so boundaries need to be put in place.

I agree! You're NOT supposed to freeze mussels and you especially don't eat them when there NOT open! You're looking at some food poisoning! Good luck....hope you're going to be OK!
