Great 👍, it is my personal opinion so please don't misunderstand. If i have 3.5 crores rupees then i will never ever invest in single plot plus for building i have to spend min 1 crore, instead i will use amount as FD with return of 40 lakh per year and i will easily get luxry residential property in dehradun on rent of Rs 50000 per month , spending 6lakh per year. Even after getting house i have 34 lakh per year as my income which far better than anything. Also i can change in location, city whenever i m bored of living at sane one place.I m from punjab having 35 acre of agriculture land even if I bought agriculture land of 4.5 crore rupees then i will get 15 acres having 13-15 lakh rupees per year income from farm produce and from bank I will get 40 lakh. It is my opinion as per my future requirements and property I have. Don't get annoyed with it.

I also prefer buying agriculture land instead of investing in any plot - live king size with domestic animals and organic home grown food

You forgot to include the tax in your calculations. On FD return of 40 lakhs per year, you will be paying almost 10 lakhs as tax every year. Moreover FD returns are around 7.5% whereas the rate of inflation is 6.5% in India. If you deduct the tax that you are paying on FD returns, you are not even beating the inflation in long run.

@@sanyamsinghal5267 Correct, After deducting tax we left with 30 lakh and that is even more than enough. Also to have this, you didn't need to do anything or other business risk as life is too short.
