THANKS. Born in DEHRADUN. My Nanihal..have been visiting Mussoorie since 1950s.Those days FANCY items good Chocolates, English magazines Ovaltin Chocolate drink were not available in DDun, but were purchased in Mussoorie. My many toys books were purchased from Hammers n other shops. It is an Maharajas OLD GENTLEMAN n LADIES hill station ..Why..you dont climb hills like Nainital etc YOU can walk miles from Sharlville to Eastern end of the stations. In British days GOVERNOR Government OFFICERS n secretariat used to be in Nainital summer capital of UP . Rajas n Riches used to avoid them avoiding offering salutes Salams to Governor n his high OFFICERS. MUSSOORIE WAS THEIR FAVOURITE..NO SALAM OR HUZUR SARKAR TO.LUCKNOW S High ups..
