Church is the coming together of believers. They could meet at homes , it does not have to be a church building.

Objective simple, Biblical answer: No. Church attendance =/= salvation. The Gospel is about Christ, and the Father's love for us and our need for a savior and His sacrifice, not a building. Was it Christ or church attendance that saved the 'good thief' on the cross? How much church attendance must you do to earn your salvation? That is the antithesis of the Gospel. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast. -Ephesians 2:8-9 Was Paul lying? Anything else is to spit on the work Christ did at the cross and says His work was insufficient.

*I am on the Autism Spectrum.* One Thursday night at Prayer Meeting the Pastor verbally attacked me. He said in front of the congregation that I had been rude to his wife and the church pianist! Funny, his wife and in-laws and I talked for the longest time before the service, no one acted as if I had done anything! He never took me aside or mentioned anything until he was preaching that night. He brought up language: he went on a rant that English only is to be spoken and it is exclusionary to speak anything else in the church. Never mind that two Philippino families habitually speak Tagalog there, and he forgot about when he recently called me over to help a visitor from the Ivory Coast who needed someone to speak French! I never asked for any other language in the services, even though I speak perfect German as well as decent French. I mentioned that whispering in front of others is just as bad. He said he'd already addressed that, and I replied I hadn't heard him say anything about it. He went on in the same vein; I got up, put my coat and hat on, and again, in front of the congregation he said "Leaving like a child!" At that point I'd had enough, and replied, "Resorting to name calling!" As I left he, obviously angry, called out, " God bless you!" I said nothing and left. There are only liberal, non Bible believing churches in my area.

I love the Lord. I just have trouble with His groupies. FYI: treat everyone badly, and no one will be putting anything in the collection plate, forcing you to get a job or sing pudding pies.

Church does not have to be in a building. You can be the hands and feet of Jesus outside of the walls within a building. We love watching you Pastor but there should also be an excerpt surrounding the notion that all good deeds do not take place inside the confines of a church but rather so many other places- your job- the store- connected to neighbors- showing love and compassion to strangers- but good deeds alone will not earn you a place in heaven with our Heavenly Father

sunday is not the sabbath, the sabbath is Saturday. sunday is when the government tells us we can go to church.

What if I just can't find a church I fit in. I'm having a Goldie locks delima here, some churches are too soft and others are too hard. What if I've been going to a church for years and all of a sudden the elders decide women can preach or homosexuals can hold the pulpit? What if the church your attending decides that wearing the color black is a sin, or if it's not a sin wearing it will lead to sin. I attended a church that said it wasn't right to let a female barber cut your hair. Separate dogma from actual teaching.
