Almost any mainstream musician would tell you that you have to have those few singles that are geared toward radio. Just because this song sounds "mainstream" doesn't mean Christina has changed. She's doing what she's always wanted to do, and you guys helped get her there. That's why you supported her right? Didn't you want to see her achieve her dreams? Isn't that why you bought her old music, watched her old videos and voted for her on the voice? This is a radio song; it's going to sound like something that needs to be on the radio. She'll have other songs on her debut album that will probably very much resemble "The Christina" that you all know and love. It's funny how quick long time fans jump on the "you changed" bandwagon.

Raj RS Kurt Hugo Schneider. Phenomenal pianist, song writer, director and editor. He's worked with a ton of KZbinrs like her, Kila Grunis(check spelling), Alex Goot, Max Schneider, and a lot more. I personally think that the best person he's worked with is who he started with, Sam Tsui. He even directed the music video for the song that Jason Mraz and Hunter Hayes did together. You should definitely check out his channel. You won't regret it I promise.

Instead of all these negative comments about how she's sold herself to mainstream, or about how she isn't Christina anymore. I'm just sure that many of her fans are simply disappointed with the turn she has taken. I understand it's like a phase for her, but I honestly miss what she was doing before. I know she's pursuing her dream in pop, but I agree with Usher--she seems more like an R&B singer. Her voice is just so beautiful I feel like it's wasted on pop o.o I miss the heart-warming feelings from her songs. Or even the stir of emotions from some of them. I just didn't feel that with this song. Like at all :( I think that's how many of us feel. I'm not saying all her songs are gonna be this way from now on, but she was doing this in The Voice as well... I'm still her fan, but not a fan of this phase. I think it's safe to assume that's how many others feel. I'll be listening to her new songs as they come out, but I'm sure my favorites will stay with her albums she's already come out with and her room-recorded videos.

KittyStrinx I completely agree that what she did for this isn't like what she usually does in her room/with her previous songs. And I agree the other songs show the strength and range in her voice. It's just the way that some people were wording it. Making it sound really hateful! I understand not everyone will like the song, because of the style. Christina told me that she wanted this single to be upbeat and fun. That not every song has to have a deep meaning behind it. She hasn't changed, she wanted to try something different. It's a really catchy and fun song!! I love it

Okay guys, here's the thing. The song is different to her usual stuff, and the lyrics aren't that deep and original. BUT. It was Christina's intention to do all these things in the song and here's why. Artists need to experiment in order to grow, and we all know of her incredible vocal ability so we don't need to be reassured. She intended this song to just be something boppy to dance to and enjoy, listening to it as a whole, not a ballad pinpointing meaning. I think she did a brilliant job at it too, this song won't get out of my head and I've been singing it the whole day, the hook is catchy and the atmosphere of its entirety is fun. She has not sold out, she's an artist who wants to experiment and allow her frands to have a fun experience to a simple yet catchy song. She is the same Christina, only she's getting older so of course she's going to change over time from who she was when she started on KZbin. The important thing is, she's still the same as a person, as in she's kind, funny, awkwardly loveable and still crazy talented! We should support everything she does instead of commenting "sell-out" or "that's not Christina".

I love Christina, this song is rockin but this doesn't feel like her. Remember everything above random and how she and sarah used to make fun of auto tune? She doesn't need all of the tuning crap on her voice, she's already amazing. I loved With Love the album it was so great with her voice. I miss the old clear cut Christina, hope her next album/single uses less autotune and gets back to her roots and the roots of music. I will forever support her I just expected something a little different. :)

**TRUE FRANDS** There is NO auto tune. If you are going to insult her music educate yourself on various studio recording software. They have a simple filter on that increases the room size on the vocals solely for dramatic effect. In the chorus her vocals are layered. Auto tune gives a techno vocal effect and she's more than proved that she can sing. They might have used pitch tune and if they did SO WHAT every artist pitch tunes. Not because they can't sing but to guide them. No matter how long you've been singing it is inevitable that sometimes you will go off pitch. Our minds do not operate like computers. As for the video, this is NOT a professional music video. It was not supposed to be elaborate or consist of a storyline. It clearly states "lyric video" which entails that the video is low budget consisting of mainly lyrics. It is a blessing that we get to see her in it. This video is not "tacky or cheap" a lot of work went into making this video. They are extremely tedious to edit and anyone who had worked with editing software can respect that. Her dancing was "awkward" that is why true frands LOVE Christina. I am glad she's not twerking or grinding on something like a ratchet. It's a lyrics video. Why would they have full choreography in a lyric video!? "She looks 15" yeah it's called innocence and class. More people should stop trying to act older and prove themselves and embrace who they are like Christina does. She is unique, classy, beautiful, and talented. I loved this video Grimmie and I thank you for putting in the time to make music for our entertainment. From someone in the industry, I know that a lot of time, labor, and sacrifice go into this. Make music that makes YOU happy and your true frands will love you no matter what. You RAWWWK bby!

Absolutely shattered and heart-broken!! Just came to know that one of my favorite artist "Christina Grimme" is no more. I feel dreadful and toxic , my hands are literally shivering right now. She was one of the most amazing cover artists the world had ever seen with one of the most pleasant voices. I have been following her for so long that it feels like i personally know her , going back to when she did i won't give up and the one that got away with just her piano and the band in her hand, which i loved so much that i wanted one for myself , i am sure my sister remembers me asking for a similar band. She started small but reached her height of success in "Voice" and when she opened the Vegas Show , I was voting 50 times regularly for 4 days. I will miss everything about her, her screaming between and after the cover in her videos , those :team grimme rawks: gestures , powerful voice , her ability to mold the song and still make it sound so much better . She was a gem to the music industry, she had so much more to offer. Nobody could have imagined such distraught incident , its really heartbreaking. My prayers are with her and her family . I don't know if i can speak for everybody here, but speaking for myself, i love your voice, feelings and way to be and see the world. Christina, When you started sharing your own music, i think the ones that i loved the most were "liar, liar", and "find me" (BOTH acoustic). And yeaaah, i know it's normal for you to play with your voice and experiment what's trending, but i was expecting more. I honestly enjoyed the acoustic video better. The song, of course, was great and you sang as great as ever. I'm literally just referring to video, not audio. The dancing and other movements just looked sort of awkward and I felt weird watching it. The acoustic one where you just sat and sang was better. Or if you played an instrument like you used to with the piano would have been even better. Just my opinion of course not hating on Christina at all.
