I have an Xbox and a switch but I still mainly play on the 2DS XL because I really liked the DS series. I like how the 2DS can play 3DS and DSi games. The 3DS XL is probably my favorite console

Huge warning about switch grips is that they will damage the console after years of use. Would not recommend any grip if your worried about protecting the plastic case if the 2ds xl

the plastic case of the 2ds xl can get its face burned off just as long as it prevents me from getting carpal tunnel from the awful default non-ergonomic design of the 2ds XL :D . Left side of handheld is ok , but right with A/B buttons being so close to the edge is god awful .

I don't have a grip on my new 3DS XL but my bottom cover is bigger than a normal one because I replaced the battery with a bigger battery that last 3 times longer than the official one. Since the the battery takes almost all the width of the console, they give you the larger cover free of charge where I bought it. I really like the added height that cover gives and the extra weight too.

On the OG 3DS, a dock actually can save the 3DS from the charger port wearing out, as the dock that came with the o3DS uses contacts to charge it, not the traditional, flimsy port. n2DS systems don’t suffer from this, but this charger is still cool as a display piece.

This is kind of off topic but I'm thinking about a 2ds xl but everyone says the 3ds xl is better. Even the people who admit they barely use the 3d on it, that is actually a reason I don't want a 3ds. Like I'm barely gonna use the 3d on it why bother. I know they have small differences like where the camera is and stuff like that but I'm not gonna really pay attention to the camera. you have to take the grip off to change the cartridge on this one. There is a newer one witch has a cut out so you can change the game.
