You can use non-phomemo brand labels, but you do have to reroll them into the appropriate sized diameter roll, though, which can be difficult. I have the m220 and the PM-241-BT shipping labeler coming as I have the M221, which is not quite what I need print sized wise. I do need a printer that can handle the actual 3" wide labels or thermal receipt paper for my job. And I need something that will run off the computer software, seeing the m221 doesn't seem to truly be configured for wired jobs. Iblove my m221 but I will use it only for household labeling needs.
