Not a bad list, though you should learn how to use lineman snips. I have the exact snips and they are called comfort grip snips, because the yellow pvc covered handle is meant to sit in your palm of your hand. Your middle finger goes in the regular scissor handle, with the other section in your palm. This allows you to have a ton of leverage cutting cables. Category cable is easy to cut, but I use mine all the time for other types of cables as well.

I have a similar brothers printer. I can set the length manually for the labels and print very small labels. You should probably check if yours allows it. The default length is always long because it prints enough to visible show the label from the ejection part. But you don't need to see it, just push down and cut it and the tip it out into your hand. Or even consider programming it to print a set of 2 numbers for those dual or quad plates.
@jjjacer
@jjjacer 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah brother likes to do this, so i just ended up making a very long print of "LR1 LR2 LR3 LR4 LR4 LR6" and then just used scissors to cut between. no matter what field if it has to print something it will try and be a pain about it.

You have a good channel. I have not done ethernet cable since probably 2007 when I worked a lot in datacenters for my clients. But now I am cabling my house and I'm getting back in it. Thanks for all the infos. By the way, I have a lot (25?) of different packout and they are really great. But the price is really high. If I wasn't using them daily I would have chosen something else because of the price. Have a good day, from Montreal, eh!

Curious about you mentioning "I'm in Canada" regarding T568A VS. T568B, I'm also in Canada and every mentor I've had uses B since it's the "newer" / "latest" standard. Obviously it doesn't really matter as long as both ends are the same.

Question: According to Simply45: Simply45's engineers designed their crimper to be compatible with other manufacturer's connectors. Simply45's Crimper replaces tools from Klein Tools (#VDV226-110), Ideal Networks (#30-495), Platinum Tools (#100004C, #100054C, #100062C), and Eclipse Tools(#902-548T) I happened to impulsively buy the Klein VDV226-110 crimper the other day to terminate some cable. Is it safe to assume the RJ45 plugs w/ Cap45 can be crimped with the Klein crimper?

Those RJ45 plugs from Simply45 look interesting. I have a few questions: - Can we use the pass-through crimper from klein tools with the RJ45 pro plugs (the ones with the ruber)? - Also do we need their crimper in order o use their Strain Reliefs or do they just click onto the plug? Once again, great video :)
@MactelecomNetworks
@MactelecomNetworks 2 жыл бұрын
Hey the best way to use the simply45 ends would be to use there crimper which I don’t have ( right now) and didn’t show in the video. As for the strain relief I would assume you’re talking about the vertical cable patch panel. You can use that with any keystone

The AT-2000 is NOT Android based. It boots up almost instantly and is good value second hand. It does seem overpriced new, especially as it’s now quite an old product. However the time it may save you on site may pay for itself very quickly. However the newer more advanced NetAlly products ARE Android based.
