And as always I totally agree with you. Basically,it does not replace a cap but rather compliments it. I always have one (black, green and camo) in my hiking pack. It’s so important to have a hat here in Australia. So it’s not as sexy nor cool but if I’m out and about for a long time it’s a must. Besides I’m a sucker for 5.11 😂

Boonie hat is the best thing I have ever bought… but I like the hat who has the bigger brim because of better heavy rain protection.. 😜✌️🍀🔥
