Is it worth buying the bnf over the rtf. What did the improve in the bnf ?
@CommandProMC Жыл бұрын
@@minouverjini8783 The BNF version is less expensive, so if you already have compatible batteries, a charger, and a radio, you can save some money with the BNF. Watch out for the 'RTF Basic' & 'BNF Basic' versions, as these ones do not include batteries and chargers.

I'm firmly convinced that this pusher style is the best configuration for a beginner. I'm self-taught, and I've flown them for so many years, but I can't remember ever breaking a propeller. These two look like good examples of the type.

Nate is spot-on in this video. I have both. I started out with the regular aeroscout and I bought the mini one for my son. Don't be afraid of its size as the regular aeroscout is probably easier to fly than the small one is. you want to get into the hobby get you one of these. Oh yeah. They're tough as hell too. And easily repairable. I've crashed my better part of 15 to 20 times now. Full speed hard crashes. Yes it broke a few times, but it's easily repairable. And it doesn't have to be completely fused back together perfect for it to fly again. It's really remarkable

I got the mini and i love it, i manage to do some acrobatics with it ( some how ) and ive not had any issues that couldn’t be solved. I did let my brother fly it once, i told him just to not pull down much and the first thing he did was fly it inverted and crashed. He broke the back but i glued it and bam good as new still pulls hard and is stable as steel.

I'm flying R/C airplanes for 50 years, I flew since small sailplanes all way to 1/3 scale planes with massive Quadra engines. I never had an model airplane so docile, easy and practical to fly like the AeroScout 1.1 meter ! This is by far the EASIEST model airplane on Earth ! Either with no wind or strong gusty winds, I still can take of and landing with my hands tied ! I recommend the AeroScout to all my friends and young people interested in starting flying R/C planes. Mine has nearly 300 flights and counting !

We love RC Saylors we really do. My wife flies the big aeroscout and loves it! We bought two of the minis and leta just say the big one is a lot easier to fly. Mini Aero has very limited throw rates -(we moved to the second hole in on both and it work a lil better) be carful of the trim adj on the trans. It Glides great! So if you want to have an enjoyable experience = high rate power to elevation cut power and glide home. Trying to fly tbis plane fast like a 3d won't work folks

I love the aeroscout and have two. They are so good for learning to do tricks like you were showing that you build confidence that you can fly. The best part is the three modes for flight and the ability to grow and learn. It gives you the confidence to get into other planes but you keep flying the aeroscout because it is fun. Your early videos on this plane is what got me into the hobby. Many crashes of other planes later I am still flying my aeroscouts.

I just purchased the Aeroscout S 2 1.m....My first attempt to fly it will be next Saturday. It went together easy; however, the wing square carbon spar was about 0.75" too long. I carefully measured the gap where the wings were supposed to touch. Then I cut the spar to length so the spar hit the plastic stops inside each wing. Also the screw driver provided was to small. You need it to loosen then tighten the screw for the front wheel. If you have more screw drivers, try to find one of the correct size in order to avoid stripping out the head of the screw. Wish me luck....I'm going in!

I think a lot of people would be happy with the E-Flite UMX Turbo Timber. As inexpensive as full-bore hobby-grade planes go, easy to transport, super easy to fly, an with flaps, super easy to land an SAFE to go along with it! I still have mine that I fly almost as much as my Night Timber X an Carbon Cubs! I think those that are just learning should go with a good, reputable high-wing foamie like the E-Flite UMX series' of planes.
@Kev500274 жыл бұрын
I agree, the UMX Turbo Timber is definitely my favorite park flyer, but it's not as durable as the Aeroscout because the prop is in the front, and it doesn't come in a ready to fly configuration. That said, I think the Turbo Timber is a perfect second plane because it can fly super slow with flaps, but is also capable of some crazy tricks.

I live in Canada, so, the American prices will be more here in Canada. I have a Bixlr 3, it's kind of an okay plane... But hard to fix... Every time I crash, I always have a hard time trying to fix it and it never works. I've watched some videos for the aeroscout, and it looks like a very good beginner friendly plane!! I might save up for that at some point! I miss flying RC planes, and I want to get back into the hobby!! Plus, the aeroscout has that amazing technology where if you're panicking, you can just let go of the controls and it will go back to straight and level all by itself! That's awesome!!

I have a full-size AeroScout, and it is amazing! It has lots of power, is very stable, and can survive crashes that would cripple other planes. One day, I smashed my wingtip into a tree on a landing approach, knocking off some foam, and it still flies like new! (This would've destroyed balsa wood or cheap foam wings). I've also flipped over multiple times without any engine damage.

For your Newbies: especially with the Little Aero Scout, if you do your training maneuvers on the upwind side (even though Nate has told you that you'll have a lot easier time, if you do your flying on a day when a sailor {Saylor?} would claim that Dead Flat Calms are no fun a-tall) you will find that Ma Nature doesn't {often} have you walking Tremendous Distances, looking for a Stray Airchine.

Nice flying. That snap roll looked like a barrel roll. Barrel roll uses ailerons. Snap roll is when you pull full up elevator and full left or right rudder, no ailerons. That’s why it’s called “snap roll”, you are snapping the tail around vs. barrel roll that is rolling the plane with ailerons. If you want to enter an inverted flat spin, combine a snap roll with a barrel roll at the same time in the opposite directions of each other. That really gets interesting. Make sure you have altitude when your learning that move.

The Aeroscout would be a better option because the prop and motor are better protected in a crash. When I was learning to fly, back in 2008, I broke many a prop and had to fix the motor mount a couple of times.

I'm learning using the HZ Sport Cub S 2 and feel that in spite of the extra $40.00 to get RTF over the Mini it is worth considering as a trainer. 4 channel, SAFE + intermediate + experienced modes, low & high rates. A lot of plane in my opinion for just $40.00 bucks more. Though the Mini, I'm pretty certain, is a much tougher plane due to the different foam (?) and being a pusher prop design.

Great Video. Aeroscout 1.1m BNF - Looks like it is going to a version 2 ( Smart ESC/Receiver?) Can you do a video on how to use the Spektrum DXe for multiple planes, can't find much on that? I know all programming is done through computer or smart phone with specific cables needed for each. How easy is it to switch between planes at the flying field once programmed in? Probably need to hook up to laptop or smart phone to switch planes, do you need to rebind each time also? I video addressing all this would be great.

Nate! The mini is not for beginners… the thing is a handful! The 1.1m on the other hand is great! If you have $100 a bang-good product like the ranger 600 is far superior, with safe, intermediate and advanced.. Horizon flopped on the mini Areoscout!

Tactic 6ch I have had for years, is my 3rd system i use for what i call expendable airplanes and heli's. It is dependable enough where as i would use it in replacement of my Spektrum and Futaba radios if they broke... On just about any size scale as long as only using 6Ch...

I really like the Specktrum DXs that came with my Habo STS, even though I have a DX8G2. The receiver power guage is great. I don't need a timer, just look down and understand battery sag.

Hi Saylors, well my 1st flight radio was the spectrum DX6 $169.99 with my carbon cub then I got a Habiu that came with the DX3, my fastest Jet is the E flight Viper if you're on a low budget take Nate's advice and just get into rc flight w/o breaking the bank...

Its been really nice here but its windy every day. Even tonight it got even worse after dark. I know if it wasn't for the southern winds, it would be colder, much colder.

Thank you!! I've been up in the air on which airplane buy...Because of this great video. This one looks like the one... Coming from the GPS drone world, this looks very exciting. Still love with dji drones. But the hobby seems to be running flat with all the rules. Thanks again, been following for some time. Keep up the good work.

Is there a dog-fighting accessory for this? I remember flying an Aerobird years ago, and there was an accessory module that let you dog-fight by killing power to the other aircraft for 3 seconds after a successful shot. So fun!
