MUST HAVE sims 4 mods for new players!

Hi! Thank you for sharing these mods. As a fairly new player could you maybe explain, maybe in a small tutorial, how to bring several items (eyes, lipstick, blush, etc.) to another category (work, party, summer, winter). When making a new outfit in a new category I have to "find" the cosmetics from my previous and re-apply them. Thank you in advance.

hi! no problem, thank you for watching! sadly there’s no way to make makeup and accessories stay on your sim for each outfit category :( in the sims 3 there was a lock button for the makeup and ever since then i’ve been wishing they’d add it to the sims 4. hopefully one day!

When I am searching for skin tones, I have a hard time with my search's due to my findings a lot of creators don't advise whether they are default or non-default. I find they either say nothing or skin overlay, skin blend or just skin. I also understand that Overlays can also be default or non-default Besides the default skin you have in your game do you use any other non-default overlays or any other things you add to your facial features etc.

Make sure that if you change the game time speed in MCCC that when you update MCCC you have the same numerical value entered. Otherwise it will reset to the default time and there will be a mass extinction of older sims and your calendar will be completely shifted around. Best way is just to move your settings.cfg file to the new MCCC folder every time you update. This will keep all of your settings the same.
