It's actually a Swedish pattern pipe wrench... very common across the pond. Old plumber I used to know swore by them.

These are amazing. Besides the obvious sockets, wrenches, ratchets, impacts, hammer, pliers ... pwz2 is the most important tool you can have.

Not sure how much cheaper the pwz’s are on amazon but my buddy at work just broke the top jaw off the body the other day so the snap on warranty was definitely worth it.

These are the best gripping pliers I have found I use them all the time bought the smallest pair first then the next 2 sizes up don't have the big one. They are freaking awesome use them alot for frozen the rods and jam nuts when doing alignments

I have a rigid pipe wrench in my box, but I'm certain these would be useful in a lot more places due to clearance. I may have to grab one to try.

I also have those from snap on. I like them because the head is smaller than your average pipe wrench and can get into tighter places

I've got the PWZ2QA with the quick release button, and the new version says Snap On on the inside. They are indeed a very useful tool. I actually had to use them one time to get a stuck caliper pin out. Ruined it, but I got it out.

i dont like using those on the short style sleeve adjusters as the squeez the sleeve against the tierod but on they have lots of uses, One good one is on chevy cruze drain plugs when the 10mm rounds off just use the pwz on the lip of the plug and it comes off everytime and put a honda plug in place haha

I have the pwz1, they are awesome especially for alignments/tie rod ends. I also recommend the knipex cobras 10” - difference being the cobras grip onto a smaller surface area (not as wide) for holding stubborn sway bar links.

We have had a high turnover rate lately of junior techs coming in without having even the most basic tools. Last guy quit because the grizzled old Master Tech refused to loan him tools anymore. Kid was taking high-paying jobs off the pile and couldn't understand why everyone was pissed at him when he came to borrow tools for the job. He was also part of a string of about three guys who bought tools from the tool trucks and didn't pay their bills. Flat Rate Master, is this an isolated problem in my area? Or have you noticed a decline in the preparedness and knowledge of young techs? (I use the word "tech" pretty loosely in this comment)

Hey FRM Great Video. I am not trying to be a troll or anything, I love your vides, but you may want to consider taking the intro music volume down a notch or two to be more in line with the volume level of the rest of your video. I actually had to start making my music volume a little lower than the rest of my videos. Some people who are new to your channel, will just click the back button and go on and never get to see your video. When I brought my intro volume down I saw my first 30 seconds audience retention nearly double.
@flatratemaster
@flatratemaster 6 жыл бұрын
All of my audio is normalized to -3 db and so is the intro music, but for you i will drop it to -6😀Most of my videos have a normal gradual drop in view duration btw
