Must Have - Tough Tugger by Elias V Fishing - Paddle Tail Lure - Striped Bass

I had the pleasure of trying out a new Extreme Shad by Elias V Fishing called the Tough Tugger. I have to say the bait is made well and durable. We took some cast after a day of Tuna fishing and the lure produced.
What is a Tough Tugger? It’s a one-of-a-kind paddletail that blends the strength of ultra-durable thermoplastics with the heavy, "pumping & thumping" action of a classic oversized paddletail. Designed to create major disturbance in the water, this bigger bait is perfect for slow retrieves or casting into areas where lots of toothy fish are going to try and get you before closing the bail. The 5.5" size has been specifically designed for heavy jig heads. It will accommodate 1 to 3 oz jig-heads easily with the appropriate hook size.
Durable & Effective
The Tough Tugger is built to last, even against notorious tail-rippers like bluefish, black sea bass, and toadfish. But make no mistake-this isn’t a finesse bait. Its bold movement due to an oversized tail and wide body stirs up plenty of water, drawing in aggressive predators like striped bass, red drum, cobia, amberjack, and grouper.

Ideal for targeting fish in environments that hold lots of short striking toothy fish (reefs, inlets)
Heavy rolling action even at slow speeds
Ideal for use with 1 oz, 1.5 oz, & 2 oz EPS jigheads (7/0 hook size)
Other jigheads - 6/0 or 7/0 hook sizes - rolling action will be more diffcult to achieve under 1/2 oz
