pick one challenge at a time and focus on that. Clanboss > Faction wars > then build toptier champs for all content. With Tournaments and Fusions it´s important to save some up and keep an eye on the competition, i´d largely stay away from winning tournaments, just grab certain high value milestone rewards. It is a grind sure, but after about 1-2 years the account should be set for most content, depending a little bit on luck and doing the right fusions.

i am lvl 54 , i fight lvl 50 sometimes with fookin mythicals , full legendary teams , while i am stuck with one free legendary (adelin) , there is no fun when you see that you have already lost at the hero selection screen . i use : Fenax Kathun Athel Toragi Chronicler Adelyn No other choice .

Personally I just gear my champs to some PvE roles, then select a team from that. The current live arena team I'm running is this: Armanz (His role is to get banned. He has a 4* blessing. He's not even wearing gear currently. I can go 50 battles where he gets banned 50 out of 50 times.) Ragash (Built to smack, with enough accuracy to land stuns and decrease defence in hydra) Wixwell (Built with resistance for hydra, but the speed, accuracy and damage are all there too. He's a surprisingly strong all rounder. Those counterattacks with provokes catch people off guard too.) Emic (Also built with resistance for hydra. Basically he puts an unkillable on the team to help the team survive if they get stunned or something. The shield is nice too, and it decreases the cool down on the Ragash smack.) King Galcobar (I don't think a lot of people know what this champ does. Mine is running at 300+ speed, which surprises a lot of people. At my level I'm outspeeding opponents Arbiter with the 30% speed aura, without using a speed aura myself quite often. One of his moves turns opponents buffs into poisons. The other move turns my debuffs into heals. I run I to a lot of teams that rely on either buffing to the max or debugging my team into oblivion. Either case this guy flips those situations around.) I lose to absolute meta teams, because my team is not optimised for Pvp at all. However you'd be surprised what level of teams I've taken down.

Intro music went hard with your intro logo thing lol. I watch that rank #1 live arena guy on youtube he started streaming it under the channel KruYseN, he builds the champs for Docmarroe and does the live arena battles def learned a bit about live arena from watching his plays, made me see ankora was actually a meta champ I vaulted her after pulling until I watched him and saw. I can't stand when I lose in live arena vs a p2w lvl 80 with 5m player power when I'm lvl 100 and 11m+ player power lol, but at the same time sometimes I beat people 2x my power and am surprised when I see that. Well said on using off meta, that's one of the most dangerous things in poker is going against someone who doesn't play by the book. Def had battles where I lost when I thought I would sweep BECAUSE I didn't know what one of their champions did. I enjoyed live arena for a bit after building the ankora but I'm hardlocked again lol

Ive been saying this since i started a year ago. There needs to be some seperation between krakens and ftp. I can see ftp/lite spending accounts together . Put medium and krakens together or something. The amount of time consumption this game takes is crazy too.

unorthadox builds are huge for me, I have 5 star brimstone on adelyn so she got a counter attack set and does millions of damagem, and works with the A1 buff steal.

I run a Dracomorph - Korugar - Rathalos - Wukong team that can beat nearly every team I find... if they don't have speed aura or Mithrala. It's really fun to do this even if it's only 10% of all teams. I also put Armanz into the team so he’s always banned.

​@@jamesgish9202Sometimes you need to take into account how a player is built and luck in gear assention with the right build and luck with assention players can get amazing improvement in champions however with the increase in Mythical teams it's getting hard to even get a turn on occasions. Especially when you're free to play like myself I've only been playing just over a year and I've only got 10 legendaries Sun Wukong, Rathalos, Scyl of the Drake's, Visix the Unbowed, Ghostborn, Corvis the Corrupter, Cillian the lucky, Adelyn, Roric Wyrmbane, Iron Brago, I only got Roric and Corvis last week they have both helped with both clan boss and hydra. 5 out of the ten were either log in 3 Sun Wukong was my game entry gift then a seven day log in was Rathalos followed by another 7 day log in with a bonus 5 star soul after another week of log ins for Adelyn , and 2 were stage progression log in Scyl and Visix.

When I pulled Taras a few weeks ago I figured I would build a go second team finally. I have Krisk, Nekhret, UDK and Taras on a team now. I find myself using that team more than my Kymar, Lyssandra, Serris and Hephraak speed team. I’m trying to make an infinity shield CB team so I’m hoping changing Krisk doesn’t mess it up.

I found with live arena, turn control, block revive and removeing sheilds/stone skin and stealing buffs is a good way to beat a lot of teams. I'm F2P and currently sitting at Gold II 3988. I always use Valkanen ( If he's not banned ) as I got him build like a glass cannon and normally use him to shut down, Sun Wu/ Mithrala/ any reviver. I don't follow meta's usually in any game as I always think, anyone will just play counters to it. I'm an Overwatch Player so DIve comp in season 5 of OW1 was a good example. I'd play hero's that counter dive comps.

The problem with Hephrak slow in stoneskin is that if Alonzo or Sun Wukong strip his SS, he's not that hard to take out first. If I'm protection heavy to begin with I'll wear down his team until I can kill him and then nuke. Of course, I rarely cross over into platinum, so that's a different world.

Some of this can work some times against whales who have been mere Pokémon collectors but there are spenders who focus on gear as well - a whale in stoneskin plus savage is often going to laugh at you and I don't want to get started with merciless. Whales in good gear are a whole different kettle of fish and with more and more meta teams having buff strip and block revive , it will be hard. All that said we can still farm live arena for resources and bonuses - disappointment comes only if you are trying to beat milestones

@@ASH-RAID unfortunately I think that the biggest issue within the game is the power creep of the newer Heroes making the ones that came before and the ones from the start of the game entirely useless in the long run until they feel the need to buff them... its not you boss, but how can pulling somebody like Lord champfort be any better than getting some rare these days.

Been playing for 3 years now, and I still haven't pick any meta champion for PVP... so I'm still relying solely on Fusions and Free login like, Ankora, Wukong, UDK, Mikage, Ronda, and sometimes Mortu for Live arena... heck I sometimes use Fenax along with Mikage XD

The issue is the stall is about making the other player have no fun - if you rely on CC as your way to win, you make a sadistic cutscene that can past 5-10 minutes. The CC meta must end

As a f2p with only Wukong as a usable nuker, i have to say that the CC meta has to stay. If someone picks Wukong before me, all i can do is throw as many cc and tm control champs as i can and hope my acc is enough to land debuffs and instant effects. It's no fun for me either, but some of us have no other way to compete.

@@achilleaskifonidis5824 The issue is the exact opposite of what you are saying - you use CC as a fallback if you can't fight - the CC meta currently is picking a select few champs, usually armanz, yumeko, mikage, and or warlord and your first resort is to not allow the opponent to play and rely on that to do a slow whittling away of the opponent - so you are seeing 1 champ keep the entire team from playing - and then we have people like Ash (who I have seen use these strategies) praising it and getting mad at anything that counters (like stone skin or polymorph). There is no counter play to my team is stun locked the entire time - if there are reliable counters so that you can do it but I'm not at 100% chance of not even getting a turn it is fine, but it is currently not that and that is the reason it needs to be broken because you will get more options as you progress but this meta removes all options and makes it miserable on everyone

Would like ideas on how to counter these actually - other than being kraken enough to just survive their attacks. :D Yes, I saw the Lydia one, and am considering that for sure.

I don't use Vogoth and UDK together. Unless Vogoth is hit by multiple attacks, his passive heal won't proc since UDK absorbs all damage from one hit

Vogoth helps with the aoe attacks. UDK only protects from single hits.

Because you are not understanding the concept of the rewards. Live arena you get a lot more medals the higher you go in rank for a win, no discount needed when spending. The discount is built into winning more the higher you go.

I really like your videos and use them a lot on builds. However as a new player and pretty much F2P accept a few energy buys It would be nice on some of the build videos or a don't sleep in this champion. That when you show off the build. It would be nice to see them paired in battle with someone more like me. They are nice and all but the champions are getting showcased with more champions someone like me don't have.

I use Arbiter, Maithrala, night queen, Sulfuryion and Sun wo. They banned Sun wo most of the time. Then I just locked out with Night queen. Then burn them to death with Sulfuryion. Maithrala just keeps them on lock. Arbiter keeps the team moving fast. I make people quit all the time.

As a new players and f2p. I must say it's hard to keep up with it all. Getting food level takes forever as we don't have the big exp and chickens. Trying to gear our champions is just as bad as there is never enough silver There is much much more that's just no way we keep up. While whales get an even more advantage during these events as they have the resources to benefit from them. Making it even harder to compete against.

Here is how I got to GOLD 1 starting with a lvl 50 account. I went for 2 speed leads. Arbiter/armanz in my case but any will work but they need to be fast. 250-300 speed. 2 nukers, In my case Rathalos and Fylija and the last spot i kept open to see what they picked. Usually I went for a drop defene champ like UUGO. Uugo is supringsly good in arena if built like a tank, If they nuke your whole team. Guess who is still standing and can revive? UUGO :) and oh, Armanz is not neccecary. He rarely got into battle and was just a ban target.

@@jamesgish9202 Even in gold IV and gold V there's plenty of defenses that are 1 champion, or 2 or a weak unlevelteam. You just have to choose your battles. I also can retain my gold IV or gold V standing when attacking team like that. The only thing is, when there's a classic arena tourney on, then you tend to fall harder as arena is more alive, but outside of that its not nearly that impossible.

@@jamesgish9202 Who you team up against is also based on player power. I’ve tested this with friends that had a player power 10 times of mine but were in the same Live arena group ranking. My silver 1 was substantially different from their silver 1. So 250-300 speed is more than enough for a new player but not enough for a veteran.

Arena fix: 1/2 the dolphins in the game are sitting at 1300 perma and farming everyone else ruining the game mode. They need to open the format all day on Saturday even once a month something, I am always working or away when the windows of play open. Speed it up, it takes way to long. Stall players should be on a chess clock and just lose by not winning. Cut match time by 50-70%

It's cute, the way to kill a whale, is to in essence, become a whale. Out of 70 pulls, I've not seen one legendary and gotten only a handful of epics. And that's including sacred pulls. It cracks me up when I see a content creator pull 3 sacreds and the 3rd one is a legendary. Must be nice.

As a F2P, I "love" facing those guys who are level 100 and P2P who are somehow in low silver, and bust out a siphi, armanz, another siphi, and some +3 arbiters and/or fully booked and souled leggos or mythicals or whoever, with insane gear. Like, why. Live Arena sucks ass as a f2p. I find it hard to believe someone who has spent so much money in a game just randomly comes back to the game months (a year?) after the release of live arena, only to somehow be in bronze/silver/low gold. I mean, sorry, but if your irl sucks and you get your kicks out on beating someone in a game, ok. At least I didn't spend so much $$$ on a game to win in -2 seconds. EDIT: Might I add, been playing this game for some years, and just got Mithrala some months ago. It takes forever to get a legendary tome/book, etc. This game is clearly geared to the whales, and of course they get paired against F2P.

I'm level 57 and I am consistently placed against level 80 - 100's. The ones that are my level somehow have several Mythics a lot of the time. Needless to say I lose a lot of matches despite being reasonably savvy (at least I believe so) in arena. They simply out power and have more options to work with. Matchmaking, at least at lower levels is really bad. I've been placed against the same person back to back. Not really in the mood to lose to the same team again...don't have the champs to switch it up in a rematch. Feel like I have to utiilize the 3 losses, bot approach to move up ever...which is not fun.

I used to be in your position and still am in a way. The way I used to counter them was with speed and cc. Ban their speed champion to get yours in and a cc champ like criodan or hoskarul, because they can even cc on the a1 when skills are on cool down, preferably in stun set, high speed and accuracy to counter weak affinity. With armanz in the meta it's become more difficult, unless you got him too. I used to ban arbiter, run my high katun and freeze them with criodan. Since then I replaced katun with eostrid and run a fast Ronda to kill the biggest threat, which is most likely wukong in case I got armanz first. I counter stone skin champs with sulfurion or use a man eater in case of hephrak, I still struggle with tormin and hegemons. But this strat has gotten me a hundred points away from quintus. Speed is the way and make sure all your champs go first before the enemy takes their first turn.

@@indrajithak47 Appreciate the insight, speed is what I'm trying to do as well. I do not have Armanz and avoid/ban him always if I encounter him. Going to try and utilize a stun set to see if that nets me a few more advantages. Thanks again for the tips.

As a f2p player I don't count non permanent fusions and shards champions as a free to play. Those events are only for disgusting pay to winers and whales ñ.
