我们只是在讨论不便之处,没有希望中国同胞都去学习英文的意思。以及,视频中大多人并非英语母语者,所以也未必适合用“你的语言”来表述。 We are just trying to show those inconvenience they feel. Not many speakers inside the video are literally English native speakers though.
I fly to Vilnius from Schiphol, Netherlands recently. Stayed in Lithuania for 6 days. Seriously, I had not seen one person during the 6 days, include services personnel at shops, transport service counters, taxi drivers, hotel staff, etc. give a smile to me or people in my small group of 4 adults. We were always polite and respectful to everyone, as we live in the Netherlands for a few years, and therefore are aware of the cultural norms of daily behaviour between common people in unofficial situations. Strange that the Lithuanian girl should pooint out that the Chinese in Shanghai don't smile. 😂😂

If you come to China and expect us to accommodate you and speak to you in English, you must be mad. This is NOT the expectation in any other country. Ex: Germany and France and the UK, if you go to these countries and you don't speak their respective languages, the locals don't go out of their way to help you/speak your language. And not everyone smiles, it can be seen as strange in different cultures. So you are right, it is the culture there.

It may not have been a complain but a suggestion, though if anyone travelling to other country, they should learn their culture/custom and bit of their language, not the other way around. The locals is not the traveller here, they don't need to learn their language. If these people can't do that, they should join a tourist group. Tour will take care of most everything for them. Only newbie traveller don't prepare themselves when travel to another country. What is the point of travelling to other places to experience the same thing as their home country.

Many think China bans overseas app but little knows that China actually allows those apps as long as they follow Chinese laws. It is the arrogance of the western companies that prevents them from following Chinese law. And also, I believe China, having proper laws to restrict usage of such foreign apps is one of the best decisions they have made. Look what the western media is doing now. Pure lies everywhere.
