I'm so so glad Sadhguru talked about the Japanese people. In India, we love the eat all you want, buffet, unlimited meals sort of stuff. The way we eat our food at home and outside directly relates to why so many of us put on weight soon after we turn 30. We don't measure the food we eat. But if you look at the Japanese, they eat a lot of different things in a meal but they eat small portions of it. They ensure this by serving each item in a small bowl, so the bowl becomes their measurement. If you ever happen to walk around Japanese streets, you'll seldom find an overweight person. Even their elderly look really fit. Whereas in India, we eat on a plate and we eat everything the plate can hold and as many times as our stomach can hold. This should change immediately. Otherwise India will become the most obese and unhealthy country in the world.

We also used to show same level of gratitude and sensitivity, reason why we built and shaped artwork of finesse like Indian Temple Marvels. The Japanese still into it are able to produce a Honda and Toyota. We need to get back to that same old 'Gratitude Levels for a Cultural Industrial Revolution like in past.'

I am just sharing my little incident from the day before yesterday. I did breakfast at around 8 am.. My mother was asking me to have lunch at around 11 am, but I refused to eat as I wasn't hungry.. but at around 2 pm I was hungry , so I had have my lunch. It was just the same items that I eat everyday.. but when I was eating, I almost kinda cried .. I enjoyed it so much .. I don't entirely know why did I cry.. but may be, because I felt the real hunger and was grateful to have the food. Just sharing.... Namaskaram. #SaveSoil

We in our family, b4 eating we bow down showing gratitude, remember God name or gurus name. Then eat. Also, when food is served, we take a little water in hand and make a circle with it, where the food plate is kept, now the food plate is under the circle. Also, put some food on the floor at the side of the plate, we offer it to...After doing all these then we eat. These are total science, not superstitions.

In Hinduism we pranam our food, put the first bite as gou-gras, then the second bite we also take to our forehead as pranam then we eat it and that's not even the only tradition we use as thanking the divine for giving us life essense in terms of food. I don't know what this guru is trying to say.

How many hindu ppl does it today? I'd say not even 5% whereas almost whole if not whole then at least 97% of Japanese ppl does that, it's like a normal thing there they call it 'ita daki masu'. So, that is what this guru trying to say..

@@sidhantnagvanshi1962My friend there are so many good things our own religion has is that comparing our religion and rituals with others would be shame for us, but no one talked about it here if u know a Maths problem and start commenting on videos related to that problem like "what is this teacher talking about? We know how to do it" then it would be wrong of u. In this video he is just telling to those ppl in West or ppl here in India who has western mentality should follow it. Ppl who doesn't follow any religion in Japan still does this which is kind of cool. So we should also teach our new kids that following our traditions and rituals are good for us in the future from childhood.

Very VALUABLE Video!! - Most DEFINITELY, It needs a SUBTITLE! - Embedded or burned SUBS within a Video are NOT editable. KZbin provided, and automated Subtitles are also VERY »BAD to translate. Due to many factors like: »no Punctuation, Pronunciation, mumbling, fast-talk, Audio/Sound etc..« ---» A »» SOLID, manually added SUBTITLE / TRANSCRIPTION-Text, on the other hand, would give this great Video even more depth. That way, MORE international viewers would/could join in - since they would/could translate to their native mother-tongue »the CORRECT way. ---» Subsequence (later) modifications (adjustments) can still be made, right!? So, WHY waiting? - Just add a Transcription-TEXT manually. . Again, the displayed one within the Video is NOT editable! Hence: Very bad to translate. But since the Text exists already, just added it to this video.
