How many times and for how many more terms and years must PNM rule, before people realize that they have destroyed the institutions (the police, the judiciary, the ministry of education, and all other institutions) established to give us this safety? Who, (other than the politicians themselves) is safe in this failed country? But people, immersed in the flood of slander, preceding elections, go right back and slavishly vote PNM, when it is part of the problem and not the solution. Should it be that Trinidad MUST first die, to be resuscitated a great time later, by a different generation, to begin afresh to build new institutions and a better society?
