The same way labour supply is created for domestic corporates which also uses English at the workplace. The labor demand pushes for the supply. Every market is created like that. All of urban education in India is in English this includes tier 2 and tier 3 cities as well. If it is simply proficiency in English, India has a far greater advantage than other countries in the Global South. I’ve studied in mixed ethnic settings and I know this for a fact.

There are many factors at play. Other than Indians (who are proficient in English), Latin American immigrants make up a significant part of the US corporate work force who are infact not proficient in English - but they learn and adapt. Calm down and stop obsessing over this like it’s a massive deal breaker. If I were you - I’d focus more on skilling than English proficiency. Like I said, when there is demand, there is incentive to create the necessary supply and it’ll find its way.
