Most people believe they are allergic because they had a mild reaction with pain or were stung by wasps. Me, I work with bees but have had life threatening reactions to wasps which landed me in the hospital. I can tell you, that if they’re curious enough to take a look without gear, they aren’t allergic. You stop breathing a couple times and you take every precaution, avoidance being the main thing, an epipen would only be backup since reaching it in time might not be possible.

@@michelleholliday5136 I used to have epi pens at hand and showed my kids how to administer them but found my reactions to stings were a lot less than when I was a child. With the rising costs of the pens, I just quit getting them. Now my kids are taught what to look for when it comes to reactions and with the hospital now about 6 blocks away, I actually feel safer.

The hive structure, exactly. That was a lot of honey, but the real treasure is the bees. On a global scale whole colonies are dieing, no bees no pollination, no pollination no food crops, It would be nice to know them little girls are buzzing around doing their part. I doubt the seller got deep enough to contaminate the inner layers but still glad he tossed it all.

You have a gift....perfectly at home managing wild colony removal. I kept bees back in the 70's and I could see you have the critical touch, a natural at handling bees. A big pat on the back to you for tackling such a nasty and involved job. I hope you are paid very well because that is daunting work any way you look at it. Most people would euthanize the entire colony and muck out the comb but your performance was watching a work of art. Hats off to you!

That was a difficult removal. I know it was frustrating that she tried to "fix" the problem first. As an electrical contractor I know the nightmare of customers who try to fix their own problems. I have bees and it kills me to see people harm bees.

Respectfully, two sides to that story. A few years back I had a problem with carpenter bees. I called an exterminator who charged me many, many hundreds of dollars, was here maybe 20 minutes if that, and the bees were back In a couple of weeks. Called him up and he wanted many many more hundreds of dollars to return. Went to my local hardware store, got commercial bee dust poison, followed the instructions they were kind enough to give me in detail..... Magically my problem was solved!!! Not everything is a DYI, but with so few people doing good work and charging fair prices, it certainly is sometimes the way to go. I say this as the daughter of the general contractor. But sadly it's a different world now. Standing by ones work and not just trying to rip off clients is sadly No longer the norm

Sad to see dead bees. :( I was delighted to see a bunch of honeybees visiting my chives, which are in bloom right now. They've also discovered the hummingbird feeder and drained it in short order. I hope it doesn't have a negative effect on the quality of the honey--or the bees! I think one of the new neighbors (about half a mile away) is a beekeeper.

Growing up there was a bee keeper relatively near us. One day the bees got word that my mom was making lemon pudding for dessert, they drove us all out of the kitchen and had their way with that pudding. We wondered if his honey took on a "lemony" flavor after that.

You need to keep a Epi-pen with you. I ate shrimp all my life and where I’ve had so many X-rays and contrast over the past few years I’ve become deathly allergic to shellfish now. The contrast and shellfish are the same some how but my wife made me some shrimp for supper here one evening and I went to the bathroom next thing I knew I woke up in the ER. I bout died my throat closed off big time.

As someone that is allergic to bees you are 100% right. My father in law keeps bees and I stay away from that entire side of the yard and always have my epi pen with me when outside at their place. I would never step foot in a closed area that had a known bees hive that has been disturbed. I am also allergic to wasps and if I find a nest I let someone else take care of that. I won’t spray any fly insect I am allergic to.

FYI Listen to the end of the video where Dirt Rooster explains he believes the previous owner of the camper sprayed the bees in an effort to get rid of them to sell the camper and was unsuccessful and not the current owner who purchased the camper as is and knows basically nothing about campers.

It's funny that even after admitting to me, off camera, that she had sprayed them she was nice enough to say "you can keep all the honey". There is even one time in the video where you can hear her telling me "you can keep all that". What the heck do I want with it? LOL I do believe that whoever sold her the camper sprayed them as well. The crud was too old and too deep for her to have caused all that.

Probably didn't pay but a couple thousand for the camper anyway, and got a good deal on it. Too bad the bees could not have been relocated. She probably didn't realize the honey can't be used if the bee's were sprayed. I don't know why she didn't leave them alone after calling you though.

My driving career ended last year after 13yrs driving. A wreck in 2018, permanently messed up my lower back. Got diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in 2017. Took less than a year for the rheumatoid to get in my back. Wreck wasn't my fault and all things considering, I don't know how I'm still here. I should have gone boom along with the truck.

The title got me as well. I think we have all been a little dehydrated & spent an extensive amount of agonizing time on the thrown! I work at a major home improvement store. They had me down stocking in the chemical dept. & I came across a bottle of Bee killer & thought to myself, "One would have to be pretty ignorant to kill Bee's" Being the pollinator of the world! However, customer demand drives the market! Glad to know that, The Bee's now have a good home! Good job!!!

Those poor bees worked so hard for that lady just to be impatient and to try to save a few dollars by spraying God knows what on them. What a waste. Thank you for doing what you do sir and taking us with you on the ride!

It wasn't the new owners that tainted the hives. Like he said in the video, the old owners sprayed the hive with something to kill off the bees just so they could sell the camper "as is". The new owner, even with an as is contract, may have a claim for damages. Clearly the old owners knew the bees were there and did not have them removed the right way. The lady said she is dealthy allergic to bees, what if she really is? The old owners put the new owner in harm's way NOT DISCLOSING the bees. It's wreckless behavior that could lead to serious consequences.

I handle all kinds of investigations but for maybe a third of my thirty years in the claims business a lot of that was truck wrecks and cargo loss. These days it's more simple stuff that doesn't require a lot of my time. Gotta focus on my bees. :)

I guessed wrong as to what you had planned when you left the camper at the very beginning but then showed up again with that "jumbo sized" roll of blue toilet paper. I was sure surprised to see you used it to clean the bottom of the cabinet. I never knew that toilet paper could bee so strong, but I guess for a big 'ol boy like yourself industrial strength material is a must. I was wondering, do they make it in a hypoallerginic, moist wipe version as well? Also, with a click bait title like this video has, you should pass up Yappy's count on his viral video in a few hours. Another great one from the Rooster, God's peace brother.
