Wish our ditches, here in the muggy South, had these kinds of finds! There were Indians here but just don't know where to look. The Altamaha River runs through here but the water runs so fast and it's so deep we couldn't find any if we tried. I wish there were creeks that ran through here that aren't on private property. I have found a few pieces of pottery and just one or two tiny points on the edge of the river but our friend has since passed away who gave us permission. Great finds as usual, guys!!!! Where do you hunt? State only, please. 😊

+creekdalton Thanks so much Creek....I will not soon forget this one and by the way., we have just recently prospected and started to hunt this ditch....It will likely never end lol....we will pay attention to how it changes with every rain and locate the heavier deposits to dig and sift when surface hunting slows....Best of luck to you my friend

Man! I would love to talk to you guys. I just started hunting in Hancock county Mississippi. I'm hunting in what is a Native American trash or midden. You know, clam shells and such. See, I don't even know the terminology! I need advice! How do you date them ? Where did you learn? A lot of what I'm finding is broken or half worked and tossed. I guess that goes along with the whole midden thing. Anyway, if you have any newbie advice I would be much obliged! Til then I guess I'll keep stalking your videos.
