My bro at the age of 14, when he rides on a rollocoaster, he would put his head down the whole ride and says he enjoys it. How the fuck can you enjoy a ride when you aren't even fucking looking at how the ride goes.

I love how you pointed out how awesome the ride is instead of saying things like "it's ok, you'll be ok." Most people don't realize that could be difference between the kid being terrified throughout the ride or loving it. Two thumbs up for being an awesome parent!

It's sweet that at first the father put a reassuring arm on the scared/ unsure boy and then at the end the kid seemed to be able to honestly enjoy the ride. That's a transformation!!

I got tears in my eyes watching this! I long to take my son and daugher (twins) on a super coaster someday. I remember the day my brother shamed me into going on the "that time" tallest roller coaster, The Scream Machine, at Six Flags Over Georgia (that dates me). I was scared to death and ended up going on the coaster 6 times in a row. I was in 5th grade. Now I am an enthusiast who, at 50, still can't get enough roller coasters. Way to go! There is nothing like a roller coaster! I am inspired.

That's how it was for me when I was a kid. My sister and I would go on all these rides and I was scared out of my mind but I got over it quickly. He is a roller coaster junkie now! Lol.

Awesome! My son & I just got back from Six Flags, he finally rode the Titan this year. The difference in your son's attitude after riding a few times was hilarious! Then at the end of the video when he said "Let's ride it again!" I couldn't help but laugh.

That is one brave kid. I'm almost 21 and still haven't hit a steel rollercoaster yet. Only ever been on Gwazi in Tampa and Twin Racers at Kings Island. I'll get the guts one day, but until then this kid is a champ in my eyes to ride something that huge.

That moment when your son is tall enough to ride his first roller coaster with his dad is an amazing moment. The last time we went to Cedar point my son was finally over 48 inches tall, he had a blast with his father.

I say the BEST thing to do when going on an amusement park ride, and i mean ANY, is to be LOUD, like really have fun, i think its good to let off that nervousness in a way... Thats what this kid looked like he was doing, and he turned out fine!

I remember the first time I rode a rollercoaster with my dad. I was absolutely terrified and I was crying on the way up on the lift. The first drop was scary, but then I thought it was a fun ride and I rode it like 10 times in a row lol.

Well Six Flags over Texas has certainly changed a lot since I was there in 1985. Enough said. What a brave soldier and well done. He did so well. Back when I was there I think I did a ride called a Run Away Mine Train and did that three times even through I'm not a big fan of roller coasters. Who knows if I ever get to visit Six Flags again in Texas let's see if I get up the courage to do those rides lol.

I remember the excitement of finally being tall enough to ride my first roller coaster at Six Flags over Texas, although it wasn't the Titan. Back then, the Shockwave was the pretty much it for excitement. Well, that and Judge Roy Scream, those two old standbys. But the Titan? Wow! Now there's a first ride to remember.

My first rollercoaster was the Orient Express at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City. I was SCARED OUT MY MIND because it was bumpy and had a double loop. That put me off of looping coasters for a couple years. Then like 8 years ago, I road another looping coaster. Now days, I ride every insane looking rollercoaster I can find. I even road the Dualing Dragons 9 times in a row when I was down in Orlando FL.

ahhh i remember my first rollercoaster, the jackrabbit at kennywood. i'm going to kennywood tomorrow, and i'm going on the skyrocket for the first time, and i rode every other rollercoaster atleast twice.
