I only started crying when I was clinically depressed. Being Angry or Cynical was causing a lot of stress in my relationship within family, parents, wife, kids. It wasn't healthy, it wasn't getting any better. The outcome of anger or spite would make you feel awful about yourself. Guilt creeps in and fuels the depression even more. Only after therapy, I diverted that expression into crying, I felt so much better. Crying is a miracle treatment. Men should try it.

During school time, one of my friends committed suicide, and the rest of us decided to participate in his last rituals. We were filled with sorrow, and one of our friends began recording his cremation video. Suddenly, he stopped recording, and we asked him what happened. He replied, "What if he turned into an evil spirit, and like in the movie '13B,' his way of communicating with me is through this smartphone video?" Surprisingly, we found ourselves laughing at the cremation. The truth is that no matter the circumstances outside, we cannot hold onto sorrowful vibes for long.

Exactly. If you wanna cry, cry somewhere nobody's watching you and make sure your emotions don't leak in front of others. Being vulnerable in front of others is one of the biggest risks you can take. Rather than pushing and running away from it in the name of being strong, but in reality, you are not even facing it. It helped me to have empathy for myself, which led me to love myself even more, which automatically makes me stronger and keeps you away from a lot of negativity. Now, since couple of months I am a lot less stressed, less mental breakdowns.

I wouldn't agree with what Vikas Sir said exactly. Men don't cry because of multiple reasons. Crying doesn't solve anything other than loosing heaviness in your heart. And I have seen grown men weeping during difficult times irrespective of the occasion. The reason is quite simple. You have a problem, find a solution and execute it.
@shikhapandey242 Жыл бұрын
At times, there are no solutions to real life problems especially incase you lost your loved one or they are seriously ill or lost a good relationship! It will take a hell lot of time and efforts to get over such a loss. In the meantime, its okay to be sad about it including crying. And I have seen strongest of the men crying, it doesn't make them any less of a man!
@savansanghvi3276 Жыл бұрын
@@shikhapandey242 , Still, crying is not a solution. At times, you might be called cold blooded for not expressing yourself. It's not wrong to keep your sorrows aside and focus on the next point of action. It's called taking control of yourself. And to be honest, civilizations are built by men and nurtured by women. If men didn't share emotions within their family, there wouldn't be businesses that last for generations. So, I am not sure what kind of people Vikas Sir is talking about. It's ok to cry for men, but, alone.
@shikhapandey242 Жыл бұрын
@@savansanghvi3276 well, from my experience most men don't share emotions( I have shining examples in my surroundings) ! It is one thing to focus on next action but other thing to feel the pain and express it!( like if your loved one is sick then you will leave no stone unturned to get them treated but yet you can be sad about it). Its about how you deal with your pain but it must be dealt is the bottom line!
@savansanghvi3276 Жыл бұрын
@@shikhapandey242 , There is just one thing that can heal every man's pain. Wins, hard difficult wins. When a man wins, all of his pain starts healing, for every loss, he needs 5 wins and that's when he has enough mental stability to keep moving forward.
