I can understand exactly why you tagged this one "MUST SEE". What an exceedingly beautiful city Lisbon is. I wonder how much the Portugese Tourism Industry would pay you for a copy of this!😜 I was previously aware that it was a nice place to visit but this video just helps to appreciate all that bit more from a totally unique perspective.🤝 Thank you, Dom.

Not, it's not. That area was planned long before the airport; the airport was just projected northeast side later on. In case you're wondering, that semi-circular area with small look-alike buildings surrounded by trees is commonly known as the "Hospital Júlio de Matos", the main psychiatric hospital of Lisbon named after one important Portuguese psychiatrist. The main administrative building pink facade can actually been seen at 6:13 centre-right of the picture.

Nice video. Amazing looking city. Really spectacular approach over the buildings near the rwy right down to the 200 ft callout even. Airport is certainly packed in there.

this is a question about the runway lines, as it seems, the pilot landed too far didnt he? i know the touch down was safe, secure, and every thing was measured for that tipe of runway. but its supposed to land at the part you can hear the 50 40 30 and 20 calls right?

Only two hours? I flew from Zurich to Malaga in 2 hours et 30 minutes. The distance to Lisabon is shorter than to Malaga? It's a nice approach :-).

Flats and houses are cheaper away from the airport . Move somewhere else.
