Hello to all of you actually in Tulsa. Thank you so much for watching this video and for commenting. One comment I get over and over though is that I made the mistake of saying "BOK" instead of "Bank of Oklahoma." My apologies and if I could re-do this video, just to correct that mistake I would. But just know that I am aware of it :-)

Great video!! You really covered almost everything here! My dad helped build several of the buildings downtown. Even the BOK Tower and the Mid-Continent Tower (the green topped building). The latter has a historical significance as well being the first cantilever constructed tower in the US. My dad has a lot of stories about that job as it was one of his first as an ironworker. As a native Tulsan though I have to say, it’s Bee-Oh-Kay Center or tower. It’s an acronym for Bank Of Oklahoma. I hear everyone not from Tulsa call it Bock and it just sounds silly to me. Maybe that’s because I banked there before the BOK center ever existed and that’s just what I’ve always called the bank haha 😂. Either way, amazing video! Thank you for the excellent and thorough content! 🙏🏽

The praying hands at ORU used to be in front of the towers. When they moved to the hands became separated at the top. A crane was used to lower a $1 bill in between the praying hands and the hands snapped shut again.

Thanks for taking the time to showcase Tulsa. Tulsa has so many awesome, little known, attractions that I didn't see mentioned in the comments. Come in the spring and visit Woodward Park. Absolutely gorgeous. (Bring your Pokemon Go. Lol) The cave house on Charles Page Blvd, just west of downtown. The floating amphitheater on the west bank of the river. Tulsa also has a world class zoo that shouldn't be missed. Too many things to list. P.S. The crime rate? In 30+yrs I've never felt unsafe in Tulsa. Just don't go north of downtown.

Great review and you honestly seem like a great person. I just have one bone to pick… for the Tulsa Massacre portion. You don’t have to hold a candlelight vigil but just a little emotion seems warranted when explaining the horrific events that took place. Describing it as ‘interesting’ and ‘cool’ is a little insensitive….but thank you for taking the time to share that piece of history and for putting together this nice video about the city of Tulsa. God bless in all your next travels!

"The Outsiders" is a definite must see. Skylar Blue Travel, please get somebody to cover the AeroSpace Museum and add it to your report, it is more than worth the effort. The most world famous is the Gilcrease Museum collection of Remingtons. Not bad born and raised here, in Fact My Great Uncle drilled the first oil well in Tulsa County, in fact that Dereck stands on the corner of the Sue A. Bland creek property. the actual oil well is about a quarter mile west of there. John Bland 's wife was Sue A. Bland and he named the well after her. The blue dome is where Cyrus Avery's gas station was that is why Route 66 runs by it or used to anyway. BOK stands for Bank of Oklahoma. Glad you had a good time.
