The farmers on tracks are ploughing. The farmers on wheels are parking. There is big different in the middle of two things if you want food. Great tracks. :) The old Same goes like a hot knife in the butter.

realy hard plowing in this extreme soil conditions .....and is a failure plow with moaldboard plow rice soils....in panama use concentric disc harrow ....is too much fast and easy ...thanks for share

Thank you for the comment! We used many years ago (I was not even born) those kind of wheels that you use.. and we usually don't use tracks, but in this case it was necessary to heal the soil.. watch now, after 1 year, how it is the condition MUST SEE! Tractor VS Mud (the Epilogue)

well in panama many tractor use rubber tires ...mudtires ...and time ago much time maybe 50 years ago use steel wheel and lentil wheel....in rice fields...tracks only use in harvesters ....for very very hard condition ...in panama exist very hard soils....like mangrooves convert in rice fields ...with soo deep mud holes and swanp soil

yes because in this way the mud doesn't stop on the tires. And, obviously, the double drive is disconnected ;)

That is not answering the question. Why do they plough such wet ground? If i did that here in New Zealand it would mess up the soil something awful.

Brandon Bond in that terrain they make rice so it's "wet" , or better, flooded from April to August. It is also in a area that is like a swamp. And more it was previously ruined by others.. They needed to plow it to squeeze out the water...
